A good idea but doubt Failhub would invest in programming required to make it work. EPL is free to play but with over 9 million team accounts and big sponsors I'm sure no issues making game enhancing chips

Failhub would build whatever the NRL pay them to build. its not really fanhub who are the issue.

Imagine... there were a lot of coin flips (at the time) and I chose the wrong one for each one to start the year. If I got them all the other way around, there would be a lot of saved trades that I spent trying to fix it and a lot higher rank with points gained

    Mahoney v Cook
    Crichton v Papali'i/Haas
    Walters v Ming
    Billy Smith v Tago

Yeah same here, these are just for my round 1 team, never mind any trades I made:

    Cheese v Grant
Teddy v Hynes (if I hadn't started with Ted I probably would have bought him around the time I ended up selling)
    Fifita v Cook
    Bullemor v Nanai

That said I did also get some of them very right

    Ipap v Angus
    Penisini v Amone
Munster v Hughes (only did this to loop Tago so thanks Izack)

Or they should give you the option to buy a change of captaincy (as long as the player hasn't played yet).
What price would you put on it though? (Nrlfantasy team budget, not real cash)

I should have had the auto-captain option selected. (Automatically picks your highest scoring player)

Beth captaining BS9 in round 1 set off a chain of interconnected events on this forum that changed the course of the season for everyone in the FOG. Hell I might have been top 100 if you'd have chosen a different captain back then.

Introducing FPL style "chips" could be fun

Bench boost, free hit for an origin round, triple captain could all be fun additions

A wildcard would be super fun as well, but it a bit different to FPL given how much more important the economy is in NRL Fantasy 9and how in FPL you can also just buy trades for points)

As bad as that was, I think it helped me in the end to not do any more dumb captaincy picks. Until I got Cleary in round 7, my captains after that week were Haas, Haas, Hynes, Ipap, Ipap, for scores of 58 64 43 62 62

I have been pretty aggressive in terms of owning PODs but I don't really captain them anymore (Ipap was a POD at the time I captained him twice so is somewhat of an exception, but he's Ipap)

OK so wait everyone is high on VT13 again after he played in a Cotter-less Cowboys and played his second most minutes of the year?

Waiting for his inevitable minutes drop when Cotter backs up his 60 minute Origin performance with an 80 minute Cowboys performance on a Friday night - spiting anyone who did trade him out

Then Cowboys to rest Lolo towards the finals to 'save his energy' as he averages 25.7 minutes in the last 5 matches of the season

Did you watch the game? He looked like the Taumalolo that we used to know... he played so well he lost his knee strapping at half-time wolverine style.
Also Cotter will probably playing reduced mins over the Origin period with the Cowboys having to back up on Friday night rd14 and rd18.
I'm keen to pick him up next week

As a new (2nd time) owner, I was just pleased to see him back to busting tackles and offloading again. Highest count of the season for both.

If he is getting decent minutes, doing the hard yards, but also back to his damaging best, that is when he will be posting some great scores.

In many games this season he has just gone through the motions, without rampaging as he has in previous seasons.

Seeing his knee strapping coming off for the 2nd half was also encouraging.

Not everyone. Tossed him last week and whilst he did look good I don’t look back and no one graces my team more than once in a season unless through injury (ala Paps).

Except Aubbo. He has been in and out of my team multiple times over multiple seasons due to the black widows web.

Nah...I like to take a Mighty Boosh approach to most of my posts so grain of salt is the best approach, but my favourite times are when someone posts a tongue in cheek response to a dull question and not only does it get taken seriously but the respondee follows up with an even duller question.

A man of many talents, nothing fazes you, a shining light in the darkness, shall i go on ? Don't answer. Just check ur loops pls. And ur captain. Although its to late to do anything. Were you robbed of any TB's last night though, this is very pertinent.
