Weezer is the only band out of my top 10 that I haven't seen. They don't seem to want to visit Australia

The one in Newcastle? I heard it got some pretty shitty reviews. It wasnt a Childish Gambino show though, it was a ROYALTY show - he's only the DJ for that group. Bunch of people complaining he sat in the corner behind decks & a laptop for most of the show - uh, yeah. Thats what DJs do.

She should be grateful he performed 2 or 3 of his own songs at the end of it, when it was never meant to happen. If your friend forked out $60 for a show and expected it to be a festival headline set, shes an idiot.

    Yes the Newcastle show.
She never complained he sat it corner.
    Shit DJ, shit show
Trying to save a train wreck with his own songs didn't work either.

Its royalty though - its not a childish gambino show. If you pay to go and see gambino's mates play a show, you have no right to complain once it starts and gambino isn't performing himself. Of course it was a shit show - it was shit performers and it was only a cheap ticket. Ludwig is a great producer but he's not any good live.

From all reports, once childish performed at the end, he was great.

I thought they both held their own actually. Obviously not Hollywood A-grade but they did the job without being completely incompetent.

    Thanks MF!

I'm in a bit of a music rut - there are a few bands on there I don't listen to.

Do my eyes deceive me? A fellow bass player?!
