In fairness Mulvy, I did warn you all that when Origin is on - I lose all sense of rationality and am as one-eyed as the nutters north of the Tweed.
Many an Origin game in the past I've nearly ended up in a blue over things I've yelled at the TV at the local pub if there's any Queenslanders in the place.

    Cotter quality.

    Well done QLD.

Papy has to be the utility, Critta doesnt offer enough. Wouldn't mind him starting but not off the bench.
Never rated Sims, Friz has to come back in

Noticed Papa only played about 20 mins, even with qlds injuries. Think slater realised he is starting to get a bit past it.

It was after he went off and carrigan came on that qld turned the tide in the middle

The move from Billy to take him off early for Carrigan looks like a masterstroke.

Not sure on the Martin pick either.

QLD always seem to lift to be able to lift when the team isn't as nearly as strong on paper! That's coaching

Well done QLD. Cracking game to watch

About the fourth time you've said it. He's been smashed and pressured every time he goes near the ball. Credit to the defence. No clue.

Papa's been pretty good at club level, but does seem to have days when he's just not quite there, whether with a niggle or something else. Would expect him to come back strong in game two, which will make QLD even harder to stop.

Word for Collins who has been appalling for the Roosters this year but was excellent tonight.

Passing of the torch. Big Rick

Was more about how QLD always seem to be able to be more than the sum of their parts. NSW struggle to get over the hump unless they are red hot favourites, never seem to have the same grit

Said it before but Martin massively overrated. Wouldn't even get a look in if he didn't play for Penrith.

None of the Panthers players appeared over worked.  Still their 2nd string side should still account for the knights

Who reckons that teams will start rushing Cleary and Luii, looked like jamming the halves worked really well.

Thought Martin did ok. Big hits, plenty of work. Friz is a much higher standard player though.

Lot been said about QLD's kick pressure and defence on Cleary but Cook's service doesn't help either. Always takes a few steps off the mark then passes the ball. Needs to fire it off the ground to give halves early ball

The one time he did that, Wighton scored

Api has the Penrith connection and Yeo also needs to play 80
