I’m not sure anyone had a shocker tonight….the pace of the game made it hard for Cleary & Luai and their structured pressure then attack game…..suited Munsters chaos ball skills

What a shit set up of a press conference. Random person hanging over their shoulder deeming it necessary to do an intro into the press conference.

Cook needs to put the running backwards spin move in his back pocket and then remove the pocket. Who has a pocket on their footy shorts ffs?

That's one of the best games of footy I've ever watched. End to end. Fuck all stoppages. They way it's meant to be played. Queensland outstanding! Bad luck blues, but if the next game can even come to that one, Rugby League is the winner.

Thought Martin did ok. Big hits, plenty of work. Friz is a much higher standard player though.
I would prefer that they all get a chance for revenge

Great game of footy. Holmes motm for mine, Munster, Carrigan, Cotter and Collins all played great.
No one standing out from the Blues side, Wighton had a decent game. Our forward pack got rolled aside from Haas and RCG. Gotta bring Friz or Angus in me thinks.

Lot been said about QLD's kick pressure and defence on Cleary but Cook's service doesn't help either. Always takes a few steps off the mark then passes the ball. Needs to fire it off the ground to give halves early ball
The one time he did that, Wighton scored
Maybe NSW should pick Zac Woolford?

Nanai may still have some time off, after the needle wears off and he cools down

Api and his defence no where near good enough for Origin, plus he struggles to play 80. Another interchange needed.
Cook much better suited, or give Robbo a blast

My thoughts on this game - as a Victorian who has zero attachment to either state
* Munster is the best player in the comp right now and I will not hear otherwise.
* Cotter may as well be called the T-1000, he just doesn't fucking stop
* Carrigan was way better than I initially gave him credit for
* Cleary is back to his midfield bomb phase, not looking good there.
* Teddy tried his best but he can only do so much on his own
* Ponga was actually pretty good, wish he'd do that at club level

Yeah, doubt he plays. Would have to be miniscule chance of playing.

Saw a couple of posts questioning Kaufusi's place earlier in the night. Couple of interesting stats on him. He had, by far, the fastest play the ball speed of anyone per NRL's stats - 2.6s. Next closest were Carrigan at 2.77 and Haas at 2.83. Capewell, Coates, Wighton, and Sims were the only others below 3s.
Also made the second-most tackles for QLD - 40 with 2 misses, only behind Cotter's 51 for 5 misses.
Not suggesting he was best on ground or anything close, just didn't see anything to suggest he wasn't still up to it at this level either.

Might have been discussed earlier, but what's the likelihood of Scritta missing time for that tackle that went on report do we think?

Yeah, thought he had his best game since... Smith and Slater were in the qld side. Funny that!

Still don't understand Crichton as an interchange player. Worked out well as a Centre got injured, but if that didn't happen, where and when do you play him.

Tipped past the horizontal, landed on the shoulder... maybe one week? Possibly two.

The independent doctors must have been in the members bar on the piss. A few dodgy HIA's sailed through to the keeper that would have got picked up in club games.

Penalty for sure but nothing else.
The biggest thing I took out of tonight is that Rabbits21 has lost his crown as the most biased supporter.
Congratulations to the Bludger.
The new king.
