I was thinking about Fermor's big break that didn't get a line break. Seems from memory the Jazz one was similar so I'm fine with it. I mean, I can see why they weren't line breaks but at the same time, both players were at the line of defence and got past the defender for another 20 or so metres so I would have thought it would constitute a line break.
Unless the thinking is since it's not your standard put through a whole and then they get to the next line of defence at the FB, the time it takes wresting with the said defender gives the rest of the intial line of defence time to retreat back and stop them eventually? I can see both sides, but I would think they would be line breaks even if I didn't own the players, but that's obviously wrong so, meh.

Currently 872/13 (c) with Burton & M. King to play...Haas (injured), Tohu (underwelming) & Keary (injured) were my let downs.

Reading that Broncos info re Haas is good news because it was estimated he'd miss a month of footy but he has a history of playing through the payne & healing quickly.
Keary on the other hand with his concussion history might see him missing round 15 as they might be more inclined to be conservative. I have the money to go Keary to Pappy with 1 trade depending on the Keary news.

Thank you Friz for scoring exactly the 55 I drafted you in for, maybe should have not waited another week on Hastings though.
A few itchy trigger fingers on outside backs who haven't racked up big scores I see. There's a young fella playing centre for the Sharks who might be worth a punt, scored above 50 on the weekend so it should happen again next week etc.

I actually had a bit of a strong look at Talakai this round.

What would need to change at the Tigers this week to make Hastings a hold. Brooks out?

I mean I’d be happier if they just didn’t play him till he was right to go.
I don’t think ‘his voice’ is a viable reason to play him

This looks like it, I held but then I saw something, somewhere about him 'managing' it for the rest of the season. Not ideal but there you go.

Is it compulsory in NRL articles to call any front rower an 'enforcer'?

Yeah, May made a tackle on Gagai in the 75th minute resulting in an error and a turn over... not given.
I've stopped following the fantasy scoring closely during games as it only leads to frustration, scoring isn't accurate, but I do believe it washes out in the big picture.

With Cotter back next week I can probably play Haas at 18th man and see how he goes... l**p him in if needed.
No way I'm trading him out at this stage

Payne Haas is a big concern. Two, crook shoulders now. He is desperate to play finals (moreso than SOO) but with the AC Joint it's strengthen and hold on, or surgery. Bloke seems tough but it's still a long ways to go...

No reynolds haas carrigan or mam (flu) at training today.
Turpin training with squad so may get Paix's bench spot. As is Gamble (strangely?), hes doing field session
