1008 last week to move up to rank 3676

Moving Hynes to the bench was a bi won, as it meant playing Savage (45) over Cheese (20)
Even leaving Koula and Kiraz in NPR didn't hurt too badly.

This week - I think we need to get a HLF in
Burton and Hynes are our only non-Cleary halves, and ideally neither of them play as a HLF because we want them at CTR and WFB

Any ideas? Only $2k in the bank

Moses pretty cheap after last week. Expect he'll score a lot better going forward and certainly won't be dropping the ball over the line again.

Barnett cheap as chips if he keeps his edge spot, should pump out 50+ average for <$600k

Volkman if we want a base price cheapie half who you'd probably expect to hold the spot but doesn't play 17 if that's an issue.

    Potentially a no-trade week.

Tago could go, but need a cashout to afford Moses, Hughes, etc. Pap out of reach unless punting King or Walsh, but seems early on them.

Fifita or BSmith out the other candidates for me. Probably not worth holding both just for Rd 17 if it allows for a Rd 17 gun and a cashout player.

Not sure on cashout options though, maybe Mr. Kennedy or Mr. Anderson?

Fifita out would allow for Hughes. BSmith allows for Moses or Hughes.

Undecided on hold trades or double trade - BSmith to Kennedy/Anderson and Tago to Moses.

    Yeah agree with this assessment.

How about trading Tohu to Hughes? Tohu is averaging 45.5 if you exclude his first game back and I’m not convinced he’ll get back to last year’s scores as his base stats have dropped by about 10. Hughes is averaging 46.7 and plays Rd 17 and averages at least 10 points higher without Munster than with him.

It also allows us to play Burton as a CTR which gives more flexibility if trading out Tago.

If we need a half, Moses scored 43 despite playing like dogshit.

Hughes will for massive R17 without Munster but haven’t seen the same scoring with him this year. But he is cheaper than Moses and a decent option

If we can wait, that’s a good idea IMO. Lots of players active in the bye week, things could change dramatically from R15 and R16

Tohu will be fine. Came back quickly from a ACL. Generally output won't be as good for 6-8 weeks so we should expect a sharp uptick in workload soon.

Look at McIness - played lower minutes off the bench for several games and made no tackle busts during those games and only one offload.
Now he's getting higher minutes but also better output in those minutes.

We need a half long-term, but don't actually need one this week. There's nobody who needs trading out urgently and any targets (Moses/Hughes if R17, DCE/Munster if longer term) aren't getting any more expensive.

So, no reason not to wait and make our half move in two week's time or even later when cashbuilders like Kiraz and Savage have made more coin. Hold trades.

My thoughts exactly, was about to post the same points.

I agree we don't want to trade Tohu

But its better to have the suggestion put out there and debated than to have potential trades suggested just as the poll is about to close.
