Only made the one trade this week of Hastings to RFM, next week the clear out probably needs to begin with Sexton and Butcher on the list along with possibly Ilias

I agree re Tago he scored 24 & my ctr floor is 25 so he's just about spot on. In 15 games he has only scored below 30 in 2 games & is averaging 41. I've had Tago, T. May & S. Crichton since rd. 1 & they always have a good match up because they play for the Panthers.
At the risk of it being entirely anecdotal, I feel like rookie OBs often trail off a bit as the rigors of high intensity week in week out football takes its toll.
Probably part physical, but also keeping your effort levels across 24 games once that initial excitement wears off?
I'm not sure if it's my selective memory or something in it?

Ilias and Clark! You really are patient lol
I think I’m finally saying goodbye to Clark next week too. Did a good job of holding his value this week, see who’s left standing after the rep footy and upgrade/cashout time

I think there is something in it
The exception is Penis, who keeps growing. His reputation. And stature. In the game.
I really should’ve looked more closely at him preseason - didn’t realise he played private school rugby with Suaallii, as his captain

I definitely don't think it's a blanket rule, but do wonder if some new players start to suffer mental/physical fahteeg (can't say that word anymore without the Ennis voice sadly).
Penisini does look like he's growing with each match - some of those offloads were a bit hairy last night - won't be too surprised if he's asks to rein it in a little (but hopefully not selfishly)

Hughes is one of the sacrifices due to cash gen. Playing every round for the rest of the year Hughes averaging 50 (48 so far this year, 61 last year) in the remaining 10 games scores 500 points. Similar outcome to DCE average 60 and missing 2 games (17 and possible rest in 16 or 18) available for nearly 200k cheaper. If I didn't make the trade DCE probably gets covered by someone like Koula in 18.
Storm will probably rest their stars before finals though too so that’s another thing to consider, I still really like Hughes with his ceiling at that price though

I was going to do Clark to Mahoney this week but thought will see how things look after the break.
Ilias I assumed would just score 30 again like usual, ooops haha

One thing Booze is really good at is getting to his best 21 as early as possible. If you can get a slightly less than ideal team on the field by round 15 it probably outscores the perfect 17 that doesn't come together until round 22. It's probably somewhere I need to grow as a manager

How long was Stefano meant to be out for? Few weeks could mean he’s back in Round 16.

Noddy said this week that he'll be back after the rep round, so yep, R16

Freddy should definitely drop any player that would be playing in r17. Feel free to add guys like Crichton/Burton to the squad who have already played in a bye round.

Burton filling in at centre and becoming one of the best in the comp while he was at it last year was the best thing to ever happen to his career. As much as it annoys me to see him playing so well after I traded out the bugger, I'm looking very forward to seeing him in Origin.
Talakai lol, is MattNZ on the NSW selection panel.

Wasn't Talakai getting banned for a couple ifgames? Now he's making his Origin debut! Lol.
