So he'll be right to play next round then.

That's a bugger for some coaches that made what looked like a clever trade last week. Except for Butters. Sadly his minions didn't follow him in our 10 vs 10 league. Their top 3 are crushing it but I'm only 200 behind first and still hopeful smart plays will pay off

Hopefully not the case, as it's hooper reporting. If it is, sucks for Twal. Pole will probably be in line for a debut soon. Stefano returning vs warriors too.

You can trade 4 in round 17, trade 4 out in round 18.
It's 8 trades, but could be worth the points gain

Laughs in 6+4 trades left before using any this week

In all seriousness I'm making two trades this week - Tago and Koula to Papy and Kennedy, this leaves me $82k, 4+4 trades and the following side:

    Cook
    I Papali'i, Matterson, A Crichton
    Elliott, Faitala-Mariner
    Cleary, Munster
    Burton, Averillo
    Hynes, Papenhuyzen, Mulitalo

    Cotter, MKing, May, Mam

    Kiraz, Ramsey, Kennedy, Vailea

With my last 4 trades before round 20, I intend to use two of them selling two of Ramsey, Mam and Kiraz to another cashout and Teddy/Grant, though if my guns start getting injured (Cotter is the last one I'm willing to hold for any more than a week or two), then I can trade them to Teddy/Grant and keep guys like Mam and Kiraz.

That leaves me 2 trades to cover injuries before round 20, and then the last 4 trades after that, as I don't think I will need to do much more for my final 17.

Enjoy these mic'd up videos, here's one of Townsend against Manly, pretty cool. Seems a good leader to have around

I’d say he’s an underrated part of the Cowboys going good this year.

Not Reynolds level, but it’s hard to find experienced and capable players to steer a team around.

Always appreciated him at the Sharks, underrated and taken for granted, gr8 player imo. The glue. Often johnny on the spot also. He was bagged and blamed alot, but that was mostly casual fans in my experience. One of my recent faves in the Sharks colours. Very likeable lad.

    NRL physio on Twal:

There is a report that Alex Twal is expected to be ruled out for the season + World Cup due to “concussion protocols” after suffering his 2nd concussion of 2022. Would be unprecedented in the NRL for a player to be ruled out for 5 months the day after he suffered a concussion.

Closest we have seen is Keegan Hipgrave, who suffered a concussion in Round 13 2019 & 2 months later was ruled out for the season as a precautionary measure. Standard protocols a 6 stage process with most NRL players back in 2-3 weeks. A story to monitor, overall hope Twal is OK

This seems like a polite way of saying the original story is pretty doubtful.

Was wondering the same thing the other day (not at 1am though haha). A red dot can be quite valuable down the home stretch..
