I often wonder that about a few of the users here. A lot of times I read posts and just wonder if it is all worth it for them. I am guilty of it myself no doubt as well, but in recent years especially I have pulled it back and remember it is all meaningless.

I think fantasy whichever sport it is can be very addictive & this of course can lead to both positive & negative consequences. Over the years you see the extremes. When you start out it's just fun then you progress to a serious player investing a lot of time into it & if your scores don't meet your expectations it can lead to depression at times but then as the years flow on the impact gets less & less & although you are still serious you can roll with the punches more & this is the stage I'm at but I remember a time when a poor team performance or poor captain score could literally depress my whole weekend.

Having transitioned out of work H2H leagues, I'm still getting the trading strategy right.  Expect it to bite me square in the arse this year

I still found a way to not pay attention in the weekly management meeting at 4pm Tues (WHY?!) but it feels less purposeful when its something other than team lists.

Looks like Hooper was right with his news.

Luke Brooks was not named to play first grade this week.

Barnett looked one of the knights best on the weekend, gotta think that’s good for his chances of holding that edge spot. Already picked him up so this is me hoping more than anything

Yes, but waiting until teams are announced in Round 17/Origin 3 to avoid any shenanigans

I actually forgot all about NF giving you 4 extra trades to end the season.

A legendary Team Discovery Channel comeback is on.

I think someone may have already asked, but is there an eliminator planned this year?

But the twist with me asking is if the answer is no, I would be up for running it (gotta put the bye week to good use)

Would just be current FOG ranks

    Qualifiers R16
    R17 off

This is basically our ten days off with a work injury in a small town hospital before heading back to the mine.

In lieu of this week's NRL teamlists, here's a shitposting stat/fact from last round:

Round 15 saw three players play whose first initial was the same as the last letter in their last name:

Isaiah Papali'i, Sam Verrills and Edrick Lee

Tyran Wishart would have been number four if he had been activated on the night (Storm's named reserve player)

Correct! Conveniently coincides with a 5 day family holiday where the days can revolve around family activities rather than super Saturday and Sunday arvo footy. Should buy me enough brownie points to get through to the end of the season.
