Been absent (on holiday in NZ) but looking at Carrigan for 717k. Minutes >60 past couple of years gives him a 63 average. With Haas' minutes questionable, I think he'll be playing bigger minutes, especially on the run home. 63 average prices him at about 100k under valued.

Surely Welshy is jumping on if he hasn't already!

It'll be business as usual for most origin players not on the bye rd 17 hey .  Unless wounded eg Munster, maybe Haas

James Hooper was wrong in his mail that Luke Brooks was going to get dropped. So Hooper has taken responsibility for getting his mail wrong.

Oh what's that. No he hasn't. He has blamed the Tigers for his mistake

    I was looking a Bird for Tago but actually did some looking forward into next week and realised his mid range price would make it too hard to get my desired targets next week.  So this week I'm looking at now;

    Aitken - Barnett
    Tago - Kennedy
    Fermor - Moses/IPap

    Not sure who to prioritse this week out of Moses and IPap.  I guess IPap has more chance of losing more money over Moses.  Would give me;

    Cook
    Ming Tolo McInnes
    Crichton Harris
    Burton Cleary
    Manu Penis
    Kiraz To'o Hynes

    Robson Elliot Barnett Moses/IPap
    Koula Savage Mam Kennedy

Looks solid I think. Next week probably Savage and Koula go for a cashout and IPap/Moses.

What do you mean? No Origin players play 17 including 18th man which was Hynes for NSW last 2 games

I was definitely keen on Carrigan with Haas under an injury cloud but have settled on Barnett for a bit cheaper. Meant I could aim for a slightly better Hooker option in Grant

Not that it makes a lot of difference, other than an extra number for everyone, but with Wighton back I'd expect him to come back into the NSW side and SCritta to be 18 instead of Hynes. Freddie made a point of sending the squad guys who had club games that weekend back before Origin 1.

I suppose the one difference it'll make is that most people will captain Hynes if he plays Rnd 17, whereas without that there'd be roulette with the Parra boys.

What's everyone's thoughts on Tohu Harris? Still a keeper or a trade out? I'm mighty tempted to give him the flick this week.

I like the pick and considering upgrading Tohu to him if Tohu again doesnt pull finger this weekend. Will either be Tohu to him, Murray or Matto and will be a gut pick

For the Captain roulette alone would be better if Hynes doesn't play as 99.6% of top 5k own him

He's a good pick but will always get a spell. Last 4 games 68 70 68 61 mins. He's already playing max mins so I wouldn't expect more than 68-70 but yeah still great pick

Think Ponga's gotta go. Would have been a nice 18th man/looper, but seems to go life and death every game. Might be another head knock away from a long time out. Any reason to hold?

I’ve lost a bunch of cash on him already. Hoping for a strong end of season run.

Just catching up, Aitken ctr is so yuck. Penisini is looking more and more like he'll scrap into my final 17 at this rate haha

Havent followed too closely, but watching him play, he just isn’t getting the stats. Lots of shoveling the ball on to wide runners.

Not a fan anymore. Think I might sell him

Bit of a sad trading week.

    Haas, Cotter, Butcher

    out for

    Cook, Barnett, Carrigan

I really want to keep Haas and Cotter, but the points on offer from the others are too good.

Was high on Barnett but think I'll get Hughes instead for this week. Historically high scores without Munster and in good form. Also need a HLF for team balance and don't think I'll be able to afford a Reynolds/Munster/DCE price bracket

Can watch Barnett and Frizell for another week to make a decision, and next week their prices should balance more too

    Sexton to Hughes
    Clark to Barnett

2 pretty clear upgrades for like 65k

Then use the dark arts to see how Koula goes tonight. If good, maybe Aitken to Kennedy.

If bad, then Aitken to Bird/Gagai/Roberts, or just play Aitken.

Basically I'm really unsure what to do with Aitken. I think he's an easy sell if I owned Burton, but I'm dumb so I don't.
