Use the dark arts to see how Koula goes tonight. If good, Aitken to Kennedy.

If bad, then Aitken to Bird/Gagai/Roberts, or just play him.

Basically I'm really unsure what to do with Aitken. I think he's an easy sell if I owned Burton, but I'm dumb so I don't.

I'm giving Sexton another week against the Knights. I see Butcher Aitken Tago even Haas bigger trade out priorities

2 pretty clear upgrades for like 65k

Then use the dark arts to see how Koula goes tonight. If good, maybe Aitken to Kennedy.

    I owned Burton once...

I'm seriously thinking of just going Aitken to Burton. It's totally overpaying for a centre (or anyone really) but if he keeps scoring at the rate he has been since I sold him (avg. 65) then he's priced right and is probably worth it

So, um. I hate to be that guy. Really I do.

But Macca is 491k, plays r17, and could benefit from a strong end of season Dragons run (even if his dummy-half snipes can be measured in geological time).

Cheapish cover for an annoying slot and rather loopable.

Would be quite funny to go back and read the chat about Burton after his first handful of games this year 😂

I reluctantly sold to fund Cleary.

And to be fair, his scores immediately before (R6) and immediately after (R7) were awful.

    Since R8 tho...

Of course, I could've got him R10, but went Turbo

Then R12 I thought maybe he plays Origin (which he did, eventually, but not that soon). Also, gee he's getting expensive.

Now he's really expensive. I don't think I can get him back tbh.

Just going to hate watch him and his stupid, captivating bombs into outer space for the rest of the season.

My plan was always to trade him in in the lead up to R13.

Then I didn't for some stupid reason, and now I am too stubborn to pay premium for him

Despite owning Tago, Tohu and Aitken.

And not owning Hughes, Barnett etc

Think I’ll just do no trades.

10 left. Can just mass trade next week before rd 17 if it’s confirmed those three will continue to stink.

$500k is too expensive for someone who probably won't score well enough to be in your final 17.

490k isnt cheap. You get Hughes and Barnett for 100-110k more. If you interested in Macca he only scored 39 in 66 mins last game and is 46 BE so can wait a week but he's always losing minutes to Mbye or worse starting spot so no from me

I did that last week, sold Haas to Burton and glad I did that. He is too good and too highly owned to not own. Baz getting sacked really unleashed him.

I never had him before last week so didn't sell him at least Very Happy I had the chance to get Burton in magic round when he was 597k, and got Ponga instead, which was a big sliding doors moment.

Held him all year and remember advocating for a centre playing at half averaging 40 with no tries. Current uptick well within his historical scoring range as well

Just procrastinating this morning. I think I'm going with Lane this week. I had a good look at De Belin but he's a cunt (allegedly).

Walsh to Papenhuyzen next week or maybe even Savage to Pap if prices move enough as I'm holding a bit of bank.

Tago is running at Momi and Sam Walker this week, could be a big POD play to hold him.

the Lord Seve got 83 in round 14 running at those guys.

I hadn't considered Lane, intriguing and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Had considered Koloa. Can someone who watches Souffs provide insight into if the last two weeks of massive tackle stats is random variance or a new normal?

Is there anyone here obsessed with Souths? Not sure.

Nah...he has entered the realm of 'diminishing returns Macca' as opposed to 'slightly under 50 every fucking week Macca'

He will score 30-40 every week you hold him, be in your 17 and probably lose about $20k. Then you will run out of trades and be stuck with him...

At least he'll have a lot of good company in my team
