I wouldn't trust the Daily Telegraph with a carton of eggs but at this stage I am choosing to believe it (and suspending some disbelief in the process)

Aitken is a bit of a rollercoaster.

    Keeping shit interesting at least.

I would LOL if he plays EDG and Haas is out after all, taking me right back to my solid Monday plans.

The 2 things I wanted this week was Aitken edge and Haas out so can sell. Now I'm struggling to make trades which not terrible thing

Had considered Koloa. Can someone who watches Souffs provide insight into if the last two weeks of massive tackle stats is random variance or a new normal?

Is there anyone here obsessed with Souths? Not sure.

Have to consider playing for a bottom 1 team he will be spending a lot of time under the posts

Pookus McFly wrote:Flirting with a ludicrous play by bringing in Junior Pauga for his red dot and bank roll. Ive spent two weeks debating whether Kennedy would be more worthwhile, but aside from the single score in R17 (which could be in the negatives anyway Razz ), he would be my third choice backup WFB after Ramsey and Koula and unlikely to do anything but clog up position 21 until the end of the season. With Pauga, I can loop Ramsey into the WFB for Paps/Garrick or May/Koula at centre, or even RFM from 18th man. My thoughts are that I will make up more points with the red dot flexibility for the rest of the season than a Kennedy one off score.

IMO there will be plenty of red dots between now and the end of the season without needing to go and deliberately trade them in. I personally think Kennedys job security will be more useful getting a warm body on the field

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think it's a terrible move to have Aitken switch to CTR anyway.

Aitken playing CTR might slightly improve the team now (even if he's better in the forwards, there a team balance argument), but longer-term giving guys like Pompey, Berry, Vailea more games is more beneficial surely? I'd rather reduce the minutes of Murchie personally, in a season where there's already not much to play for.

If Aitken plays EDG then I might as well keep him.

Whoever pointed out Tago is running at Momo/Walker makes a pretty good point to hold onto him but the opportunity is here to get Burton back if I want.

Burton may not play R17 but I got to get him back you know. The man just had a great Origin debut, he's going to be full of confidence and booting those balls into outer space which is not something I want to miss out on.

Now with Aitken getting a repreive, Barnett can wait a week.

Two weeks in a row without trades, who am I.

It did seem odd when Stacy seemed to be the one most keen on Aitken playing EDG pre-season.

I think I'd honestly rather have Aitken in the centres this week running at either of the Tigers centres.
I assume if he goes back to second row then Murchie to the bench and Katoa out of the 17.

Agreed. Wiser heads than mine pointed out that with his early tough run of games and getting used to the Dogs attack set-up etc. he'd lose coin early on and then come back with a vengeance. I followed their advice and held out until Rd.10.
Absolutely the best trad-in for me this year. Makes up (a little) for my stupidity at picking up Peoples.
