Re: FPL 22/23
Good luck for the season lads.
I was quite close to going without Jesus and getting Bamford instead. Can fully see Jesus blanking week 1 and 2 and losing about half a million and I really liked a Bamford punt. Alas I pussied out, the ownership is insane.

Fpl is kind of nice, set your team up to before bed then wake up to some sweet scores

Re: FPL 22/23
Not only did I pick Jesus, I forgot to save changes after last minute tinkering and he ended up my captain
Also had Martinelli and Gabriel so not a terrible start

Saving changes is something I need to get used to with this game. The amount of times I made changes yesterday only for it to default back

Re: FPL 22/23
Games only been open a few hours and players are getting traded out in their thousands
No rolling lockout here, so anyone you trade in today won't actually score for you until next week.

Watch the mass trade in of whoever scores this week for Jesus. He looked lively. Go the Arse!

I reckon market manipulation, everyone's second team dumping so you can pick up cheap in the main team

You can trade for the following round once the current round starts

People trading Jesus are just rage trading because he didn't score in his first game
As soon as one round locks out, you can trade for the following round. Price changes can happen every day, so you have to weigh up trading early to beat the price rise, with waiting as long as possible for maximum information.

Why rage trade this early in the round when you can't reverse trades? If you get hit by injuries you'll be in trouble if you already spend trade on a healthy player. Silly people

Last season there were “experts” that traded Chilwell early to beat a price rise. And his price did rise. But he then also did his ACL in a midweek Champs league game. So they used their 2FT or a -4 getting him back out in the same week. It was hilarious.
Of course I then made a bunch of similar errors later in the season so hubris is real
