What’s the priority for my bunch?

Players I’m considering (not all at once)
    Burton
    Teddy
    Cook
    Tapine/young
    Mitchel
    Team as it stands.

    Robson
    Angus, Ipap. Barnet
    Matterson, Elliot
    Cleary, dce
    Aitken. Tago
    Pappy, hynes. Koula

    Hughes, Mahoney, mam, jing
    Thompson, volkman, pole, penis

Im tempted to forgo Burton, and run with aitken as the two ctrs.

Bringing in Mitchel, as a poor man’s tedesco allows me to use koula to cover ctrs as well.

Also, can use koula to cover tago, if I’m short in edg position.

In terms of trade outs. Priorties for me are

    Penis
    Jing
    Leo
    Mam.

    Could also punt matterson.

    Looking at:

    Penis to Mitchell

Leaves me with 120k and 5 (+4) trades.

Can you afford the extra $30k to just get Bird instead of Doueihi?

Yeah mate, Doueihi just a luxury trade at this point I think.

Scoring potential in the halves push him far higher up the pecking list as a scoring over Bird though

Maybe Bird and Burton/Manu this week and hold on Doueihi?

Thanks mate, I do appreciate it considering how much closer we are now in the rankings.

As above I will probably prioritise Burton this week as per original trades with DCE. Maybe Garner reverts back for the start pre game. Possibility surely.

Burton seems to be one of the guys you just need to have. Just shit he is so expensive.

Obviously, SOO Will throw up some curve balls that change these plans.

Yeah Bird + Burton + DCE would be great trade in's and you need those two centres.

If you really wanted Doueihi you could do Garner to him as a 4th trade but realise that would leave you with only the 4 extra trades

I'd be tempted with Douieihi over Latrell mate, and working the funds to get Cook in

I've got no hooker cover since I dumper Cotter and Robbo  Shocked

Team features some guys on apparent fantasy downslope Harris/Friz/Garner. Potentially Elliott if only playing 50 minutes.

Do I need to look elsehwere with trades this week? Before trades I've got 4 + 4 trades and $566,000 bank

    Cook
    Lolo, Barnett, Yeo
    Crichton, IPap
    Moses, Cleary
    Garner, Penisini
    Hynes, Papy, Latrell

    Elliott
    Friz
    Harris
    To'o

    Koula
    Mam
    Lee
    Trindall

Guys I definitely want for run are DCE, Haas (at current price)and a top line CTR. Guys I would like Burton, Cotter, Doohickey if back to huge scoring half role.

Current proposed trades have me at

    To'o - Doueihi
    Penisini - Burton
    Mam - DCE

I think, re-looking at the trades I probably need to find a stronger CTR option than Garner over chasing Doohickey, this might mean having to bypass Burton and his mega price and getting 2 of the next tier (Manu and Bird) or getting Burton and running Koula maybe?

Think I'm going to need to get some advice on these trades moving forward? Maybe just the 1 big time CTR and run Koula? Would mean i save the trade for later upgrade of Harris - Haas?

What do you do if Cook rested last game of the round? It's likely you won't know for sure either until an hour before the game, or least 24hrs before the game. I think you need a plan there. Cotter isn't available this week. Not keen on Grant? With your back three and Cleary Moses and planning to get DCE you don't really need Douehi and either and he probably has a high BE this week anyway. My quick assessment is you need a hooker back up and at least one centre.

I got a feeling Garner will move back into starting side, but I guess that's more hope than judgement. Shit trade dumping Aitken after the concussion worries. I wanted Garner as the Burton partner but looks like another trade moving on from him.

Douieihi is a gun, but so is trell. Feel like he has more pedigree, but you have to accept the odd “lazy” game/score.

Can go Matterson to cook in one trade. No brainer?

    BSmith 3 game suspension

3 game is the worst such an awkward timeframe, especially at his low pricetag

Defo a hit and hope on Cook backing up. I'm not overly keen on Grant and won't get Robbo back after dumping him.

Reason I want Cotter is the hooker cover he provides and all over mid support. Guess I need Cook to back up and hope Cotter returns next week.

    Agree on other assessments.

Matterson trade out is annoying. Absolute gun and was looking at bigger minutes with NBrown

But then as usual he got injured

Cowboys said (a week ago) that Cotter is 2 weeks into a 6-8 week rehab period, so at best he's back round 20 (missing Origin 2, R16, R17/Origin 3, R18, R19), more likely round 21 or 22

Ugghh that is not the most welcome news.

But still, If Cook backs up this week, I guess I don't actually need hooker cover minus something catastrophic happening to him between backing up and Cotter returning.

If you can’t have Burton. Who do you bring in? Top ctrs are skin picking.

    Averages would suggest:

    Manu
    Ramien (120k cheaper)

    L3 averages

    Bird (50k cheaper)
    Ramien

Ramiens value is inflated by a big score lst week. With 3 tries. Wouldn’t touch him

Bird, has had two decent scores in two games. But, plenty of trash this week.

Manu, more expensive. But has some great scores in there. Floor not as low.

Manu has to be the pick as the poor man’s Burton. Surely.

Latrell over douehi all day my 2cents, I understand that half generally scores more than wfb but douehi has not definite job security their, the Hastings 13 role is an experiment, wests are woeful and a few more losses from capitulating for the season, latrell is heavily involved, looks fired up, kicks goals and plays in much better team, plus his style is there to just accumulate points,

Yeah same situation for me, so unless we get info on Thursday or Friday that Cook is out, then I won't actually make any trades at all this week (I was going to trade Mam to Volkman but Volkman out means I can wait and get more money out of Mam)

With guys like Mam, Jing, Koula in the 17 I'd be burning trades. Penis to a cash out allows some decent upgrades. It appears your cash gen suffered a bit, so I think plays like Mitchell over Teddy is a sound idea. I like the idea of keeping Koula for ctr/wfb cover, but I'm torn between using his cash elsewhere in the next week or two instead. Looking over your team, might be hard to get Cook, would consider Grant instead perhaps.
