Was about to comment something similar.

The other consideration is that the NRL is a funny beast.

One minute Newcastle is a gimme game, the next they have some confidence and you've suddenly lost two fullbacks in the space of a couple of weeks.

I still think it is a good bet as most of the other teams play each other this week.

I'll watch how the next two rounds play out. Eels should win their next two - if they don't they were never gonna make the top 4, if they do I think it will be prudent to hedge, but that will in part depend on other results.

So much for that huh lol. At least the Sharks & Roosters lost, but need Manly to drop one or two now....Looks like some of those injuries finally caught up with the Eels.

Missed the start -  4 lengths last to a win, an outside run the whole race. If it was a straight track you could have started her 400m handicap and she still won.

Did someone send the boys at UBet a Joey Johns care package ? I know the Cowboys have been doing it tough, but $1.90 H2H with the tigers ???

Just checked Crown and Tigers are $1.85 favourite.

Obviously the decimation and downward spiral of the Cows....

Fuck you Tigers fans must have some real hate issues with your team, $1.90 for the Tiger's is well and truly overs.

The cowboys were dropping like flies in the sharks game.
If they are missing further players and this one is at home combined with the tigers gud form now then yeah id get on the tigers also.

If Morgan + Lolo play, Cows will win in a canter.

Brooks out for the Tigers clash. Not sure whether that helps them or not

Eels last night puts my top 4 bet back on track - would have been a done deal if they hadn't slipped up v the Knights!! Will hedge today to cover and ensure profit.

I took NQ, and the Dogs (points) too. Value in both I reckon.

Also value in the Warriors on opening line, but I'l hedge that too I think. Has come in now from $3 to $2.35

If anyone is interested in Rugby Union, keep an eye on the totals (overs) for this round (round 2) of the Mitre ten cup. Usually defence is lacking (compared to Super Rugby) so totals blow out. Lots of 60+ games. But the first round saw atrocious weather which has meant this rounds totals are on the low side IMO.

Eg I took 44.5+ last night and it ended up going 65

I'd suggest, pending weather (and lines of course), overs on games including the likes of Taranaki, Waikato, Wellington, Tasman, Canterbury, Manawatu, Auckland, and Counties for this round and most of season is probably gonna make u $

Easy overs in both games last night. I suspect there will be value in the remaining games this round before the bookies revise how they are setting the lines from next week.

    What a weekend aye lads?

A couple great NRL picks from @No Worries

Overs went 4 and 2 in the Union

and on the NZ Tab Floyd drifted to $1.4 which was just insane money for one of the greatest ever defensive fighters vs an amateur boxer - just shows what can happen when hype takes over! Hindsight is marvellous but I have to say that is one of the most crazy value plays I have seen in 20+ years betting!
