Kent was certainly living up to his name last night, particularly with Brandy. The series was live with under 5 minutes to go and Kent is carrying on about how NSW got it horribly wrong at coaching and selection level. Granted, Wighton probably should have been there but to call it a wholesale failure is a bit of OTT carry on.

I’ve never been an Elias fan but he handled himself with lots more grace than Kent last night.

Have never seen Brandy interviewed post game in full blues kit, right down to baseball cap.

Don't watch it these days, but if you are making Elias look good, then you have failed as a pundit

DCE scores against Knights last few years are 73, 86, 68, 81 and 69. So avg of 75.4 from last 5 against them.

Concern for me re Hynes is how he will go coming off Covid.

Holding Ilias for R17 really f*d my trade plans.

The -3 and the 0 weren't great as scores (only the 0 counted for me) but the dropped cash has killed my upgrade chances

With just 2 trades left for the next few weeks I can either spend them both on downgrade + gun, or go for a much lesser trade in target.

Still no closer to deciding on trades this week, or even if trades are necessary.

Running this with 5(4) trades left.

    Robson
    iPap McInness Lolo
    Crichton Elliott
    Moses Mam
    Burton Bird
    Hynes (c) Pap Latrell

    Grant Tohu Koula Kennedy

    Cleary Haas Trindall Volkman

Considering the following (Mam and Koula the outs in all scenarios so need CTR cover):

    a) Doueihi + Gagai - Doueihi a 17th man upgrade on Mam, Gagai has gotten very cheap, should be an ideal high ceiling dual 19th man

    b) Pompey + DiFi - Warm body centre cover + a genuine gun at 17th man

    c) Aitken + cashout up to 320k - Means playing 3 centres in the 17

    d) Just Koula to Ponga, deal with centre cover another week with 8 trades still up my sleeve.

    f) Hold, Koula and Mam should make a bit more cash, have a look at Doueihi and DiFi

Probably leaning towards holding at the moment, but I also kind of like Doueihi + Gagai.

    Ipap Angus
    DCE Moses
    Aitken Burton
    Teddy May Pap

    Hynes Elliot M. King Cleary

    I like this a lot.

Don’t know if I can trade him in and chuck the C straight on him after Wednesday night.

I think the best names you've listed here are Aitken and Doueihi.

I would hold for a week, I think if Koula hits 35, Mam can hit his BE, Doueihi gets 45, Kennedy gets a 30 and Aitken around 45.

You could maybe do Koula + Mam + Kennedy to Aitken + Doueihi + 220k cash out next week.

Could then stick Aitken in your 17, Bird + Doueihi as nice loop/cover options at 18/19. Can replace Aitken with Fifita if looking for upside as well.

Has Nathan Brown landed a contract elsewhere yet? Surely he's still too good to not be playing first grade? Someone a team like the Dolphins or Warriors could use!

Papers are saying storm may look at brown. They tried for Lodge but missed out obv and Dragons said no to Sims leaving early.

Getting the traditional yips on game day over bringing in Doueihi. Will he be the same player as he was last year. Questions questions
