Went to bed at half time chuffed with his 45 in 40mins and then adds 2 more points in his next 25??

Just realised Angus hasn't scored a try this season. I think tonight's the night.

That's what convinced me to hold him over Harris when bye-stacking. He's due. I'll take the 50-ish no try average, but he could easily score 3-4 to end the season and get some big scores.

    Last 3 seasons he's scored: 9, 5, 2.

Happy to extrapolate that he's due for 14 this season, so expect a big finish.

    Yes, good memory Robel.

More so making it a recommended pasttime, it was Quicksand who noticed we were all inside hermits and had a crack at us all!

It would be a shame to keep them to yourself Rev. Sharing is caring apparently.

Angus has been close 4-5 times this season. A lot of being dragged down inches from the try line. He's definitely due, especially with Sitili out.

Would be surprised to see Angus receive a lot of short balls from Walker close to the line. Also wouldn't be surprised to see a little grubber try for him.

Of course for all that to come true, Roosters need to get and sustain some pressure on the try line.

End game strategy question if I may.

How do people balance the strength of starting 17 Vs strength of 21 squad?  I've tended to go for a balanced 18-19 squad to cover injuries/outs.  But it means the starting 17 is weakened,

For example, my 18-21 is currently Lee, Ilias, Pole, RFM.
Plan is to trade Lee to Doueihi and play Doueihi in my 17.
I will bring Bird to position 18.

Bird is a lot of cash to hold in position 18.  Trading him to a cheap CTR (to retain cover)  would allow an upgrade to one of the uber guns I wouldn't otherwise afford (eg Cook).

Historically I have used a strategy and held Bird.  But wondering if I should be considering the alternate?

If I had played the game well, I'd be going for a strong 18. 19-20 that are half decent, and potentially a red dot 21 for looping'

As it is I have a decent starting 16 (+ Koula)
All my 21 are at least playing at the moment.

I'll use 2 of my last 4 trades next week to get a stronger 17th man, then probably save my last 2 trades for injuries.

NZ Rugby fans losing their minds over the latest ABs squad announcement lol.
To be fair the NZRU seem pretty tone deaf when it comes to their announcements and what their fans want.
