Haha thanks mate, im just bummed. I lost 50 points alone on the Teddy v Garrick matchup. Its gonna be a rough week!

At least we might be able to chip away at firsts lead this round. With no centre cover and Manu out he has traded in Burbo who scored 16.

I went Paps to Teddy so was a great feeling no longer having to death ride him.

Why did Bird go down 4? I'll admit he didn't deserve the TO when he knocked the ball out, but that was the ruling. Or was it something else?

Post-game talks that Ponga should be rested for a few weeks, maybe even the rest of the season. Two failed HIAs in one month + one against panthers. All speculation at the moment but with the knights season over, it makes some sense to play him cautiously.

I have a feeling that crown on your avatar might not just be ceremonial in the coming weeks. Good luck mate.

I got Trell instead of Teddy, love it when I outsmart myself Beer

I am truly a fantasy genius who never makes any silly trades ever.

5/224, Cook C so hopefully that can keep me in touch this round.

Who would you buy to replace Pappy:
    (a) Mitchell or
    (b) Doueihi

I had a look at the remaining games & Doueihi has the better draw if that matters. Thanks.

Very pleased with that win, the boys are rallying well. Gotta put it together next week against Manly which might be a season defining game for us.

Fantasy wise it's pretty meh. 8/362 feels off the pace.

a surprising sight to log on after work, 6/371, Koula's dud at 17 put a dampener on it - in hindsight, I had an opportunity to do some looping shenanigans with Trindall and Pole, but i didn't think it worth bothering - but definitely can't complain, yafss tells me that's better than the average 'captain played' score for 6 and I've still got Captain Cleary in the barrel, been moving in and out of the top 500 the last month or so, hopefully this is beginning of staying there, but not counting the chickens before they hatch, been in spots like this too many times where I'm looking at my score on Monday like 'wtf happened, where are all of the points i was going to have?'

Seems to have lost the TO. Which as you say is just weird. He didn't deserve it, but that's the way it was ruled on the field. Unless the stats guys are refs now too?

Fair to say my Gagai trade in is off to a rocky start. -21 in demerits, fuck me!

Ah well, at least he's only there as CTR/WFB depth cover, and it gives me the easiest loop decision of all time to loop in Lolo.

Any word on what he said? Is he facing any time off like Smith?

WFB is going to be fun to start next year. Have to assume Ponga, Turbo and Pap will all be underpriced.

Yeah that Burbo move didn't go unnoticed. A timely 70 from Aitken would just about level what I lost on Garrick v Ted against our good friend Will Ennis. Nice play on picking up Teddy, I basically own every WFB you could want except him at this point 😂. Looks like I will be stuck behind the couch for a while.

Papy will probably be priced around where he was at the start of this year, 50 average in 12 games compared to 50.9 average in 13 games last year, which would imply he'll be in the low 600s.

Given that, he'll be first player picked in my 2023 round 1 side, especially given the last couple years trend of him going ballistic in the early rounds before having injury trouble
