5 players in the Penrith/Parra game tonight including (C)leary so that will go a long way to seeing how good my round is

5 players tonight with Moses in the loop for a look making it 6

Will probably take him anyway unless he has an absolutely shocker/injured

I've only 3 in that game and one of them is Shaun Lane. My big day is Saturday - 8 players including Captain Haas

I also am interested in many of the media people defending the Manly players right to not wear the jersey. I suspect they would change their opinion very quickly if any player used the same logic to get out of participating in an ANZAC ceremony/jersey.

Yep I am all for standing by what you believe in.
However, if you are a giant hypocrite who 'sins' or is ok with other types of 'sin', but then draw your line at supporting and embracing other people's homosexuality (or any other kind of sexual orientation that doesn't fit into the hetero basket), then you are just a bigoted homophobe using religion to protect yourself from that label

Heartening to hear a player coming out strongly in support of it like this rather than just 'both sides-ing' the issue. Lot of respect for Rudolf for speaking out like this:

“That’s why I’m in this game, because I had difficulty being accepted as a migrant and rugby league accepted me.”

Rudolf, who himself identifies as heterosexual, openly spoke about his same-sex experiences, stating “sexuality is fluid”.

“I haven’t got caught up in the Manly situation,” Rudolf said to the SMH.

“What I will say is I was raised by quite a few gay and lesbian community members. My uncle is gay and my godmother is gay, and there’s so much love in that community.

“Sexuality is very fluid. I’ve been out and kissed many gay men, kissed many straight women and kissed many gay women.

“I’m not a one-stop shop. Love is love, and I love to share it with everyone. You could say I’m open to both genders but only attracted to one of them.”

Yup, this is about where I stand too.

It'd be a shit show if someone didn't want to wear the ANZAC jersey - you can guarantee you'd hear 'disrespectful' 'un-Australian' etc etc.

Someone asked last night what Roosters fans think of Angus. Be interested to know too. I might sell him off next week.

I know stats can be used for any story and small sample sizes etc, but...

Talk emerged Angus wouldn't make Origin after the first part of the season, and I recall some discussion in the press he needed to lift. In the 6 rounds to Origin 1, he averaged 60ppg with no tried and got 60+ in 5 of 6 games. Then he missed the team.

Outside of that 6 week period he has averaged 43 and not hit 60 once.

Just feels like he's not getting anywhere near as much ball.

Last year he averaged 143 metres and 3.4 TBs per game. This year it's dropped off to 115 metres and 1.9 TBs. Good news is he's pretty heavily owned at least (72% of the top 1,000) so most are in the same boat with him.
