How do Panthers players fight on here? With the minor premiership all but locked up, 12 men for the rest of the night, a score already piled on, what gets you up?

General competitiveness? Pride? Anger? Due diligence?

aargh they gave the LBA to Lane and not to DBrown who put Lane through the line first

Cleary snr needs to give them some direction at halfway, they need to re-gather

Still have to go thru with the 2nd trade this week to have a competitive 27. 3rd extra trade will be Cleary next week. Out of trades by R22 and finishing around 10k seems pretty inevitable now. It’s a funny game

I personally don't see Penrith winning it this year. Yes might be controversial, but with Luai out potentially 6 weeks and Cleary now a few their finals momentum will be all off and I can see another team like Cows/Sharks or a smokey like Eels, Storm or Broncs going on a run and taking that into finals is huge for winning the thing.
Plus winning back to back is real tough

Manly were great after Lawton got sent but I’m not sure Cleary is the kind of coach who can get the boys up like Des.

Double edged sword for me. Non-Cleary captainer (as long as Burton definitely plays). But do I use my last trade selling him, or hold for rd25? Will be watching the match review committee with interest.

If he wasnt back til rnd 25 then he is 100% a sell, imo

That said you may as well wait and see how 18th man goes before pulling the trigger on a trade
