    Her: C U Next Tuesday!
    Me: Oh, a cunt.
Her: OH MY GOD! YOU CAN'T SAY THAT WORD!!!!
Me: Why not? It's just a word. It's what you meant.

Yes, it's only a word, but it's a word that a lot of people find unacceptable, and it can be considered disrespectful to women.

There are lots of words that are considered socially unacceptable, and c*nt is one of them. Others include n*gger, po*ftah, etc. They are just words, but they aren't appropriate to use because there are a significant number of people who find them offensive.

You've got Burton and Hynes, with MBye slotting in. Moses is back... 2 more rounds?

Yeah I’d rather not move Burton or Hynes.

Moses could be back next week I think. If Parra lose tomrrow I think he’s defs back next week.

I mean, you're playing MBye anyway so it doesn't really matter where they'd play. Moses with a bung finger doesn't seem like much but probably impacts his confidence, and he's a confidence player.

I get holding him but you're missing out on points. If he sits another week too that's most likely 120+ (not including last week).

The difference is that nigger, poofter, faggot, etc all target specific group of people, which is why they're less socially acceptable.

Cunt doesn't discriminate against a particular group.

Reckon Storm are a chance to get up tonight. Dylan Edwards is a big out considering they're already without Cleary and Luai.

I know but if I use the last trade and I lose 1-2 more players this or next week I’d be regretting using the trade.

Any word on the injury to Edwards or how long he might be out?

I think you're on the right track Rabs - hold trades if you can play 17. Too many players out the past few weeks and no doubt we'll see more withdraw in the next fortnight.

I beg to differ Snatch. It discriminates against and is disrespectful to women. A very large and significant group.

MANY women (and men) find the use of the word c*nt disrespectful to women, especially when it is used in public (and this forum is public) so I'm very disappointed that anyone would condone it's use.

Sounds like the shoulder injury he copped last week and they gave him every chance to play so imagine he'll be back next week.

I think what Filth is saying is whilst it might be found disrespectful, it is not in the same category as hate speech targettting race, gender or sexual persuasion.
