Storm will have a number of second rowers fighting for spot: Tariq Sims, Chris Lewis, Jack Howarth, Trent Loiero as well as Katoa.

Some of this is true but I don’t reckon Sims is playing edge ever again. Too old, too slow. Reckon he’s a specialist #15 next year.

    E. Katoa fell out of favour & I don't know why. He started the season & he was talked up but then he got some sort of injury & never regained his starting spot.

Storm are losing both their starting edges, its likely there is value in whoever replace them, whether its Katoa or someone else.

I rate him and I think both the Dolphins and Storm did reasonably well out of the changes e.g. Dolphins gained much needed experience of Bromich x 2 and Kaufusi; whereas Storm have that elsewhere and have gained a bloke with a lot of growth potential at what I am assuming is a decent price.

Katoa debuting during COVID for the Warriors probably the worst scenario to develop as a player. Not totally the Warriors fault, just the situation of no reserve grade, being Aus/hotel based, lack of depth/experience at the club to learn from, and so on. Think he’ll become a star at Storm eventually

Because he was playing like shit.

But he's definitely got some raw talent so hopefully Melbourne can harness it. Warriors absolutely horrible place to try to develop with no consistency or leadership around you.

Watch him do an iPap and become a gun at the Storm.

Another talented player completely wasted in the Warriors system, don't blame him.

Man Katoa looked so good during his first season and then just never kicked on. Kinda like a lot of Warriors players. They have a phenomenal record of turning decent players into rubbish ones.

360 tonight will just be Kent and Hoops defending their mate

He's had $135k worth of fines clearly he hasnt learnt his lesson

We have Joe Chan as well, who looks like an absolute weapon on the edge.

My preferred forward pack for next year would be:

    8. Welch
    9. Grant
    10. NAS
    11. Howarth
    12. Chan/Loiero
    13. JKing
    14. Wishart/some other bench utility
    15. Kamikamica
    16. Loiero/Chan
    17. Sims/Lewis/Eisenhuth

Nothing excuses Stuart’s behaviour, yet still would really love to know what happened in the junior RL team

It’s probably really mundane but the small chance it’s not is tantalising.

Imagine being such a little shit (allegedly) that you live rent free in Ricky Stuart’s head for 12 years.

Watching 360 it's quite clear it has something to do with Stuart's daughter which is not on. Without defending Salmon though I'm sure we all did and said stupid shit when we were 12 years old that we wish we could take back. Then again Salmon obviously has had the chance to apologise and hasn't.

I think he's daughter might have a disability also?  I watched it too, and it definitely lead to Salmon and his daughter, that's not cool whatever the extent is, particularly if she is disabled.  I mean, they were 12, but we don't know the extent of what went on.  Ricky just chose the wrong place and time to have a crack based on some old feuds.

I was a complete idiot at 12 and was an asshole in my teenage years.
If someone schoolmate or team mate's Dad is still thinking about that and hating me for it 12 years down the track I think they're the ones that didn't improve their character.

Not particularly buying anything Kenty says, if something sinister has occurred turn it over to the coppers not the Nrl.

His daughter has autism (mentioned on Sticky's wikipedia page) and they founded the Ricky Stuart foundation because of that.

This exactly and even if you don’t move on don’t use your televised press conference to call into account the reputation of a player with circa 50 games when you’re one the most entrenched people in the entire game of Rugby league through your decades of playing and coaching

Thanks to kentys diatribe on 360 the speculation and innuendo about salmon did or didn’t do will continue, and it’s grossly unfair and disproportionate to jaemon having a kick out at Tom starling,

I respect that Ricky didn’t try and justify it with a long list of supposed ills that a child did to back up what he said in his own words he regrets doing

Hope it Ricky gets a reasonable sanction, no need to go over the top and that the matter is put behind everyone

I feel very sorry for jaemon
