I actually agree with the bunker on that one. Yes the player makes no attempt to roll away but you can't play the ball on the person prone, that's always gone against the attacking team.

Some more Robson involvement would be great too.

    I went Elliott to Fifita.
    Ride the highs and lows.
Cotter's a great shout though - one I wish I could have got back in somehow.

He didn't though. He went to put it down, placed it on a player, picked it up (without losing it), and apparently he knocked it on?

If he lost control I'd 100% agree, but saying that this "constitutes a knock on" is just making up rules at this point

If that was Victor Radley or JWH on the floor they would have been in the bin for 10 for a professional foul

I don't think his hand came away from the ball but you could see a couple of his fingers come away - he didn't have a grip on it and used the defenders leg to hold onto the ball.
That was the way I saw it anyway and it's bloody hard to tell either way on the images we get.

He was trying to milk a penalty. I ALWAYS love it when that backfires, no matter which team it is.

DWZ you did not do the correct thing there and that is not unusual.

You aren't allowed to use an opponent's body in order to maintain control of the ball. Whether you agree with the rule or not, its a correct decision.
