Anyone looking at trading Elliot ? He has been dishing up some terrible scores the last 3 or 4 weeks. Ever since he had that in game injury it seems. For whatever reason his tackle count has been way down aswell. Probably only an option if you have 2+ trades tbf...

He's been occupying my mind for the last two weeks. Got away with playing him last week as I was far enough ahead, but I'm in my H2H final this week with one trade left, and really don't want to play him. The problem is we both have him and I know if I trade him out he scores 60. Other factor is there's not great options in his price range. With only 21K in the bank, most enticing options seem to be B.Smith or J.Brailey. Neither fill me with great confidence. Maybe Nikora or Brimson? All seem really shaky to me, though.

Best scenario would be To'o actually does something this week and puts up a meaty score so I can just forget Elliot and my last trade even exist.

I’m going to loop him with Douehi via Mbye.

Yeah looks like people are just going for the highest scorers + Millie Boyle.

I'm thinking taking a punt on Upton at WFB. She was involved in the creativity on attack a lot on the weekend and should hopefully see more points against the Titans.

Amber Hall was giving me huge Fifita vibes with not scoring that well and then a run or two giving her a lot of points. Think the Rooster might wrap her up a bit better to limit her offloads.

Cook, Boyle, Fifita, Hynes(c), Kelly(c), Utpon - current line up for me. Still kicking myself for taking the (c) off Kelly first round. Would be ranked 40th and 1st in FOG. Sad

Going a bit more match up based with my team

Cotter, Boyle, Joseph, Hynes (C), Kelly (C), To'o

Burton and Penis for me. Brought in Bird for cover, had Crichton and Tass at different points but those 2 have been main stays

Started with Scrtitta & Tago, Koula as NPR 'cover'
Sold the starting centres to pick up Burton, once he'd dropped some coin.
Wanted to get Aitken all year - but always had other issues to deal with.
Ended up picking up Avo cheap (as a place holder) who just stuck around like a bad smell.
    Koula survived all year.

Looking at YAFSS, average trades in the top 1000 is 0.8

There's one team with 5 left and another 6 left.

Ok, dunno if I'll use it yet but best options under 634k.

    I'm thinking its 1 of these 3:
    Sam Walker
    Lucy Leilua
    Scott Drinky
(Already have Cheese, Hughes, Friz, RFM)

    But will consider all write-ins

I can handle other teams smashing me in rank

But teams that are smashing me in rank AND have heaps of trades left is just rubbing it in.
Although wonder how close those guys would be to 1st overall if they'd used a couple of trades earlier.

Yeah there's restraint but then there's too much restraint

Good thing about those three is they all have something to keep playing for.

    Others:
Teams in contention: Wighton, Nofa, Talakai
Playing for Kangaroos jumper: Friz, Hunt

Riskier options if you're feeling lucky: Cobbo, Kikau, C Walker.

Wouldn't usually recommend them obviously, but just need to catch them for 2 boom games which they're all well capable of.

Cobbo apparently training with the reserves so definitely a riskier option.

be cautious of Cobbo heard he might be getting "rested"

have nothing to back this other than someones words who has contact with Wynnum Qcup system but possibly quite a few changes to Broncos team come kick off

James (broken finger), Kennedy out cobbo rested and Pereira palasia and hosking in

Also there were suggestions that Turpin will be playing for Wynnum this week he wasnt as confident in this as the others

again not claiming this will be 100% but keep an eye out for changes prior to kick off

Edit: Pete Badel has already posted about it

Following up on my C Walker suggestion, his recent scores against the Roosters dating back to Round 20 2020: 32 (1 try), 58 (2 tries), 67 (0 tries), 96 (2 tries).

Always seems to lift when playing them. 5 tries in 4 games for an average of 63.25.

Not without risk obviously and these 'player vs X club' matchups should always be taken with a grain of salt, but one to consider if anyone has a spare trade burning a hole in their pocket next week.

Moved NRLW stats over to https://nrlw.yafss.com, so the naming is correct.

Added a few things this week like filtering by team list position and adding base points averages.

    Few players worth looking at:

Jesse Southwell at HLF had a massive game on debut with a 66 but still had a solid 33 in base. Hard to move off Hynes though.

If you need a NRLW HOK, Brittany Breayley-Nati is the only player worth looking at. Looks like she's playing the full 70 too. Had a 48 on the weekend with a TA/LBA and 38 tackles.

Simaima Taufa is highly owned this week at MID, but has a really high floor averaging 45 in base at Lock and showed a decent ceiling with a try and a 62 last week.

I think Georgia Hale (0.1%) is an interesting one too, averages about 53 (adjusting for 70min games) at Lock.

Amber Hall (2.5%) is a MID, but playing on the edge, where she averages 56 but doesn't score as much in base as the other options. But definitely worth a look with a lot of offloads and tackle busts.

Destiny Brill will probably be a high floor MID, but might have lost some upside moving to Hooker from Lock.

Keilee Joseph looks the safest play amongst the EDGs playing at Lock.

Tallisha Harden (1.8%) is another EDG playing at Lock as well and had a 49 with 33 in base in her first game there.

I still like Evania Pelite (0.1%) as a WFB play, didn't have a great game last week but racked up the stats in the 2nd half after a pretty poor 1st half. It also depends on how you think the Titans will fair this year. She has the highest base and average playing at Centre than the other WFB in their team list position.

I also really like Romy Teitzel at 0.5%, she is a WFB playing on the Edge. Had 48 last week with a try and 28 in base, which is a lot more than WFB usually score.

Samantha Bremner (WFB) had a massive 89 and if you believe in the Roosters train rolling on, she might be worth a look. She has always been pretty low in base compared to other options, so it might not continue in tougher matches.

Tonegato as a WFB is always a good option, but highly owned and has potential as an anti POD.

Isabelle Kelly at CTR is a no brainer for me, no other real options.
