Ah well both Mbye and Aitken out I now have 5 red dots and only Burton as a centre so I’ll be playing with 16. Current rank 576 so hope I can hold onto a spot in the top 1000.

I've got CTR cover for Aitken, but still have Barnett on the bench as well.

With only 1 trade left, do I trade Aitken (or Barnett) to field a solid 17th man, or run with Jojo Fifita/Fonua Pole this week and save the trade for a potentially bigger out next week?

Not in contention for anything - just pride.

Managed to avoid Aitken all season, was cursing it for a while, but knew it'd pay off in the end.

Was totally my plan all along that he'd get a rest in round 24 and I could catch up while others play with 16, definitely nothing to do with not having the funds.

Haha, I was looking through my squad to see who I could send an email to put across a case for DPP.

Lolo been scoring like a centre, he will do.

With the depth you seem to have, I'd probably use the trade.

Just noticed the big Matamua at number 18! He's on the comeback charge too. Beer

ynot wrote:Moved NRLW stats over to https://nrlw.yafss.com, so the naming is correct.

Added a few things this week like filtering by team list position and adding base points averages.

    Few players worth looking at:

Jesse Southwell at HLF had a massive game on debut with a 66 but still had a solid 33 in base. Hard to move off Hynes though.

If you need a NRLW HOK, Brittany Breayley-Nati is the only player worth looking at. Looks like she's playing the full 70 too. Had a 48 on the weekend with a TA/LBA and 38 tackles.

Simaima Taufa is highly owned this week at MID, but has a really high floor averaging 45 in base at Lock and showed a decent ceiling with a try and a 62 last week.

I think Georgia Hale (0.1%) is an interesting one too, averages about 53 (adjusting for 70min games) at Lock.

Amber Hall (2.5%) is a MID, but playing on the edge, where she averages 56 but doesn't score as much in base as the other options. But definitely worth a look with a lot of offloads and tackle busts.

Destiny Brill will probably be a high floor MID, but might have lost some upside moving to Hooker from Lock.

Keilee Joseph looks the safest play amongst the EDGs playing at Lock.

Tallisha Harden (1.8%) is another EDG playing at Lock as well and had a 49 with 33 in base in her first game there.

I still like Evania Pelite (0.1%) as a WFB play, didn't have a great game last week but racked up the stats in the 2nd half after a pretty poor 1st half. It also depends on how you think the Titans will fair this year. She has the highest base and average playing at Centre than the other WFB in their team list position.

I also really like Romy Teitzel at 0.5%, she is a WFB playing on the Edge. Had 48 last week with a try and 28 in base, which is a lot more than WFB usually score.

Samantha Bremner (WFB) had a massive 89 and if you believe in the Roosters train rolling on, she might be worth a look. She has always been pretty low in base compared to other options, so it might not continue in tougher matches.

Tonegato as a WFB is always a good option, but highly owned and has potential as an anti POD.

Isabelle Kelly at CTR is a no brainer for me, no other real options.

    This is a great summary, you've uncovered a few I hadn't considered.

Interesting comments on Pelite, I'd definitely be holding if it was standard fantasy, and still looking at running it back again in the Mixer anyway. It seems like CTR, in relative terms, is better scoring in NRLW than NRLM. So a WFB who is actually a really involved CTR should be gold, if you can pick the right weeks.

It might ultimately depend on whether I go WFB or EDG for the 3rd NRLW spot.

For the other two spots, Kelly is a set and forget CTR and likely set and forget (c) for me until I feel like I need to chase.

And for MID I was on Hall last week for the attacking upside, but a bit more wary against the Roosters. Might look at one of the locks instead for this week.

I was hoping to use him for looping my two shitto/17th man options, this is an unexpected turn of events. Was playing lock in u20s the last couple of weeks.

Think the upside of extra points this week + next week outweighs the risk because you'll still have Fifita/Pole next week

Pride's not all it's cracked up to be Very Happy

I reckon blow the trade...looks like you have a few green dots on the bench. You either definitely play them this week if you don't trade or maybe play them next week if you do trade. Its winnish / winnish!

So I have 1 trade in the bag and 32k, only care about Grand final and its this week so need the win.

    My uniques are

    Fifi v Yeo
    Munster v Bird
    Mahoney v Brown
Tago v Aitken (they have at least 1 trade left)

I was looking to upgrade either

Tago - althought no good centres and warriors seems a good matchup
Mahoney - to SOS, NOS, Brailey, Smith
Tohu to Butcher (maybe chasing scores)

building off my previous post. With the rise of big wins is it worth just picking guys based on matchups.

Nikora on the edge with form of 58 and playing the bulldogs
Edwards with form of 53 playing the wariors (but was injured last week)

Melbourne Storm socials team going full chaotic mode and announcing five signings/resignings on five different social media platforms with an hour between each one.

Not very exciting but George Jennings the first one announced on Facebook signed for next year.

Feels like a very anti-climatic end to the season to have to use my last (hard-earned and fiercely-guarded) trade on a CTR.

Can't waste your last trade on a CTR if you blow all your trades so have none left.
