Yeah thats the big Question, I think maybe Yeo and possibly Beans may get a rest next week so probably best to hang onto the trade, was thinking of bringing in Bee Smith as a handcuff for Grant but will be unable to if I wait a week.

    I wouldn't do that personally.

If Eels and Storm both win, it's hard to see Nico getting a rest.

Thanks mate. I'm happy with my season regardless what happens these last 2 weeks. Being forced into using my last trade gives me an uneasy feeling but nothing I can do about it.

Yeah I lucked in with Tago the last few weeks holding his own, I,ve had a lot of luck this season just quietly.

Bird apparently is a definite stay away also.  He cites it would be a different story if he played lock and mentions his 81 from last week.  Does he not realise he played 60 minutes at centre and scored his 2 tries from there because of MBye??

Tbf I don't mind May and Tago if you're in a H2H final and that's your priority (obviously not for overall with the risk of resting as you say).

Trading in wingers/centres is never without risk, but it could easily be a cricket score against the Warriors the way we're going, particularly with Luai and JFH back. Should be plenty of attacking stats on offer.

I think we’re just tradeaholics here who get fomo. I’ve got 2 left, and my last 2 were sideways / backwards. I also made 2-3 stoooopid trades that were a complete waste (Wishart anyone?) I can see how 5-6 trades left is feasible.

That said, I also think the 4 extra has had the opposite effect for many. They got complacent and used the first allocation and the extra 4 turned up just in time for carnage round.

I brought this up a few weeks ago based on my own experience but wholeheartedly agree with the fact that the 'extra four trades' made people a bit more trade happy than they might have been. Realistically it's only 2 more trades than last year so there was no reason to be so devil may care.

Personally, I usually head into the final 4-5 rounds with at least 3-4 trades, whereas this year I had one (which I still have) due to uncharacteristically splurging on questionable trades in the couple of weeks leading up to round 20 and then getting caught by injuries & suspensions.

I will be interested to see any changes next year given every team gets an extra bye, the elimination of the rep round and increased impact of SOO. At some point they need to increase squad size rather than just fuck around with trade numbers (but that's a whole lot of engineering).

Squad sizes will need to increase next year surely. Back to 25 I would think / hope. 21 with bye players would be unmanageable.

I’m urging you on home mate. Hold the trade as long as you can. Next week will be carnage.

Which underperforming gun to chuck in the loop with Gagai (via Mbye):

    TU: Reynolds
    TD: Lolo

Thinking Lolo still, his ceiling seems to be gone.

Genuinely have never heard of a young footballer in his 1st year of NRL ,and in the hunt for finals footy, ever ask to be rested cause he is tired.

Hes a genuinely good kid so id like to lean to thinking its commendable both by him and the club to recognise a break is ok this week.

Tbh we dont know if there is more to it. His form has been down since origin (happens a lot with young fellas). Not suggesting hed be dropped, but if hes mentally not there at the moment then hes better off for the team if someone else steps in

Bloody hell. I just re-checked my team and due to the Palace and Hosking getting a run, I have 21 green dots!!
Are the two Broncos forwards on the bench, or has one of them jagged a starting gig?
Suddenly I have options for the bench and no idea who to play.
Suggestions:  (if anyone would like to put the following in order of expected scoring)
    Grant
    Angus
    Robson
    To'o
    Avo
    Mam
    Palace
    Hosking

    Cheers.
