Problem is that they've overpriced all the potentially undervalued guys.

Welch being 638k (priced at 45ish) from playing one game and scoring 41 is ridiculous

Base price looks like 230k which is a decrease from last year @ 240k
Magic number around 14300 give or take massive price hikes for players that were going to be criminally underpriced

Very few duals and players who should be underpriced have received significant bumps.

First impression seems to be pretty easy to make a squad - should be heaps of value around the league to choose from.

    Agree. Duals seem very scarce.

Still a few interesting positions that will be dual come round 1. 2 standouts for me at first glance

Thompson for bunnies as a ctr when I think we all know he'll be a winger
Hopgood as Edge only as well

Don't ask me how but I've managed to fit Grant, Cleary, Munster and Burton into a draft that doesn't look half bad

Looks like a bit of decent value in the guys that ended the season in different roles to start of the season

Tapine priced at 55 but averaged 61 from round 11 onwards

Doueihi priced at 52 but averaged 62 once he got the 5/8 spot

Hastings priced at 45 but average 60+ in the dominant halves role before injured.

These are the kind of players I think I'll be targeting

Yes mate if Thompson starts wing he will get DPP.

Schuster, Hopgood and Hammer for starters a bit more expensive than I was hoping.

Barnett is an interesting one DPP and 617k. Avo looks cheap 370k and DPP.

Mahoney and Cheese interesting options at hooker.

Kurt Mann 570k and DPP I won’t be touching him again.

Fifita playing for a contract if he’s running off Foran I might have to get him.

Schuster at 479k do we think he’s still worth it!?

Not bad at all mate but Hodgson and Hetherington smell trappy to me.

I am trying to fit Tapine in to start for the 3rd season in a row. Key changes in the MIDs for the Raiders, which should see him getting a decent 50-60 minutes each week (average of 63.7, with just 1 try and a low of 48), with both Sutton and Elliott moving on.

Have also got the other 2 in my initial draft team. Harder than I thought it was going to be, with the price bumps and lack of duals.

    Smith
    Tapine Cotter Carrigan
RFM NAS (assuming named at EDG like he was playing all the end of last season and with both K Brom and Kaufusi moving on).
    Douehi Hastings
    Te Whare R. Jennings
Martin CNK Ponga (only if at fullback)

Harris Kenny Howarth Sutton (should finally see good minutes in a Bulldogs pack without Jackson there)
    Blore Nikorima Sloan $230k

    $7k spare

I can't recall any number 6 next to DCE scoring well. He hogs all the possession, kicking and key plays, between him and Turbo. Can't see Schuster scoring well enough at that inflated price.

My 2nd draft very early thoughts (I know I’ll need a stronger 18th man)

    Mahoney
    Cheese Barnett Tapine

    Cleary Hastings
Averillo I. Thompson (will get DPP)
    Turbo Ponga CNK

    S. Luke R. Sutton Hopgood Howarth
    Mapapalangi Blore Talau Sloan
