Are Egan Butcher and Wong trialing for that EDG spot this week? If so, I would happily grab either of them. Butcher has been biding his time, would be a fantasy beast with big minutes.

Good luck Angus, get yourself right.

Obviously as we're all terrible people, I'll be the first to say it. Egan Butcher has a very fantasy-friendly game. Somehow only an edge despite playing almost exclusively as a bench mid for the firsts.

*edit* not the first to say it. Terrible, terrible people

    From the DT:

Angus Crichton’s availability for the opening round of the premiership is in doubt after he took time off from a Sydney Roosters’ pre-season camp in New Zealand to deal with personal issues.

Crichton, a fixture in the Roosters back row, missed the club’s camp in Queenstown last week and only rejoined his teammates at training this week.

He was left out of a strong Roosters side named for their opening trial against the Melbourne Storm in Geelong on Sunday and there are now doubts over whether he will be ready for the start of the premiership - the Roosters kick off their year against the Dolphins in round one.

The Roosters can ill-afford to be without Crichton, a crucial member of the Australian side that won last year’s World Cup.

However, they are fortunate to have youngster Siua Wong in reserve - he has been named alongside Egan Butcher in the second row for the game against the Storm.

The 19-year-old Wong was a member of the Fijian side at the World Cup and has been earmarked for big things by the club.

Pretty big news out of Storm camp today. Cam Munster says he's lost his zip 😯 battling with Osteitits Pubis - brought on by overloading the legs and hips. Sounds like he'll be alright for round 1, but might not be at his best.

You *are* terrible people and I’m not which is why I won’t say how it’s tempting to double Butcher in this scenario because that’s what a terrible person might say

    2. I’ve heard the 13 role is likely to be Guler or Horse. So, it’ll probably be moony and whitehead.

From memory horse played a decent stint in the final game last year due to someone getting injured early. Made 50+ tackles, again from memory.
If he looks to be getting good minutes, he is still pretty awkwardly priced.

On Sutton, I’ve always thought he was under rated. If he gets a Josh Jackson role I’d be all over him like an nrl player on a white substance scandal.
Or like a policeman on a drunk NRL player!

I am indeed a terrible person, but who benefits the most fantasy wise -Nat or Egan?

Backrow will be: Papali'i, Bateman, Ofahengaue then blore.
Papali'i on left with Brooks, Bateman right with Doueihi.
Thank you good sir. Seems sanity might prevail with Bateman on an edge but it’s sheens so I guess we’ll just have to wait until rd 1 to see how many wingers he names on the bench.

Given he missed all of last year with his ACL injury (from round 25 2021), I think it's more likely that they're just getting minutes into him - he must be pretty rusty right now.
I think it’s more likely he’s trash and so is the rest of our backline

I heard this rumour a few weeks ago from a mate of an NRL player so dare say it's true. Scummy of these sources to jump the gun and publicise it before the roosters though

Still don’t know the rumour but I vaguely posted he’s an avoid on Dec 25 based on a very solid source.

Id be absolutely amazed if 90% of people on here don’t here rumours from mates of an nrl player.
Seems like South’s fans have sources instead of mates of mates of the cousins dog of the kid who just got his first run in flegg.

Not fantasy relevant, but the spine minus api (obviously) have been given to round 6 to show they're worthy of being re-signed.

I forgot I rode off the back of Rabbits thinking he’s got scoops so mine seemed like a throwaway. But I legit had a scoop. Probably my first and last. Everything else I have or ever will post is rumours from mates.
