    Good call Milchy,
Whatever is going on in Angus' life, it sure as hell shits all over Fantasy info.
We are just playing an online game - he seems to be facing serious issues, let's cut out the gossip.

Newcastle has an awesome opening draw, but I don’t have one player from the knights. Ponga is a big avoid (coming off a hammy strain or whatever and playing in 5/8 with an interrupted pre season) Hastings perhaps (see if he improves this weekend) Elliott has minute issues with Mann on the bench, Saifiti looked terrible on the weekend. Miller?

No Knights or Dragons players for me either, and only one player each from the Tigers and Warriors (Talau and CNK), it's a nice feeling.

That said I think the Warriors will be at least okay this year, probably won't make the 8 or anything but Webster seems like he can coach and they looked good in the first trial.

Lachlan Miller or Adam Elliott are biggest interest from Knights for me.

Ponga and Hastings a little bit tempting but a bit too much risk around them for their price at the moment.

So underprepared this year. Change of job and new baby on the way. Just don’t seem to be able to find the time.

It’s probably going to come down to copying the community team / respected forum members team and playing very casually all year

Nah...you're good. Just spend a couple of hours after the team lists actually come out and your team will be fine.

Most of what goes on around now is a cup of speculation, two teaspoons of wishful thinking and a pinch of good research. It can seem pretty hectic & give you the heebie jeebies but I think it's all part of the fun for most of the early contributors....I prefer to make some outlandish statements, throw in an ill researched comment and wait for the concrete info to come to light and it seems to work ok (ish).

Sometimes underprepared is good, I feel overprepared, because somehow Hodgson is my starting hooker after overthinking things and getting lost down rabbit holes.

I put zero prep into last year and came up with a team pretty quickly after team lists.  Had my best season yet.  I'll be doing similar.  Haven't drafted a team and probably won't until the week of.  I haven't had the time though either to put any prep in.

    Mildly interesting/weird to note:

On the NRL.com ladder, the team logos are different to the team logos under the 'next opponent' column.

Just catching up on Sunday's games. Apparently Darius Boyd has been giving lessons on defence to Walsh, its a bit of a worry.

Can't get injured in a tackle if you're not in position to make the tackle Trellmit taps head
