I'll probably go Cook or Grant

Cook is quite tempting and everything else being equal, I'd like to have him, but Grant saves a fair bit of money so definitely an option.

I was looking at Grant and Cook but I figured I'd rather just get Murray instead and just use Cheese and Boyd at hooker until I can get Robson in (targeting him for the Origin period as he likely doesn't play Origin and plays 2/3 big bye rounds)

This is the way I'm going - Cheese, Boyd and Kenny.....stacking the forwards with Haas, Murray, Tapine and D. Fifita and running light at CTW (Drinkwater, Russell, Warbrick) and maybe some loopyloops with a Dragons WFB round 1....

Who is Warbrick taking the place of in the Storm backline. Is it a regular starter?

Meaney via Paps. Should get at least 6 weeks maybe more (assuming he's named of course and the Pape info is legit)

Technically Meaney's spot (once Papy is back Meaney would move back to the wing) but I'm pretty sure Gennings would be in that spot if he wasn't injured.

Warbrick still has to beat Ieremia and Anderson for that wing spot but I think his trial performance was good enough that he should get it. He's definitely good enough to keep Gennings out (especially if he gets a try or two against the Dogs, Titans and Tigers in rounds 2-4) but odds are he'd probably lose his spot once Papy is back unless Meaney moves to the bench or there's another injury somewhere else.

Warbrick is contending with Meaney (who will likely be fullback whilst Paps is out), Dean Ieremia, Grant Anderson, George Jennings (currently injured) for a spot on the wing.

2nd I think. Teddy having an early bye might sway me to Murray and Walsh as they have no bye first half of year. Teddy does early.

Walsh might not play round 1 though apparently.

Just wondering if there’s anyone that may have a Rabbitohs connection that could provide any possible intel on Thompson? Is this guy going to hand around?

Seems inevitable, if not this year then eventually. Article mentions AFL policy, and think UK superleague already has it too?

A couple of fantasy relevant HIAs at the same time and there will be so much crying over trades, FanHub will chuck us another half dozen.

Looping has rarely paid off for me in the past, it's very hit and miss.
I guess with the additional bye per round, there will be more opportunities this season to get it right

That’s where I’m at buddy, I’ve seen it work for others, not so much for myself but with this new format of byes I think it’s a must to at least understand how it works for the new season. Whether or not I’m any better off or not is another question.

Alternatively you could just build a team of 18 playable players to mitigate the weekly bye round conundrum

Are we still talking about (NRL) fantasy?

It seems like Warbrick, HSS, and Tommy are better choices than AKP with Kelly back round 4. I almost guaranteed I'm wrong and AKP makes 250K.
