If Sutton plays similar mins to Thompson then there is about 10 points of value there... it would be a slow burn though and you would need him for at least 6 weeks to make it worth it
If he plays 55mins his career ppm is 0.85 could have 12-13 points value

I think he plays more like 56 and a half minutes and his value is more around the 12.5 to 13.3.

    Sunia’s time to shineA
    ByAdrian Proszenko [ShakingMyHead]

A ball hasn’t been kicked, but already it’s a tough start to Penrith’s premiership defence. They lost not only their World Club Challenge clash to St Helens, but also prolific tryscorer Taylan May to a season-ending injury. However, if there is one club that has the depth to cover injuries, it’s the back-to-back premiers. Sunia Turuva will be named on the wing as May’s replacement. And the good news is Dylan Edwards, the Clive Churchill medallist, is back for round one.

    Looks like no cheapie McLean

Depending on what happens in 2 or 3 hours I am closing in on selecting both Tiger Halves. Doueihi averages ~ 60 when playing with Brooks but here is the kicker - Brooks average is close to 10 points higher when paired with Doueihi at 5/8 than without. Both players do not have a bye until R13 by which time Brooks will be upgraded to Hynes.

Is this a Balls move? Undoubtedly! Will it work? Who knows?

Anyone joining me on the Brook Look?

I did it one season running rookie Albert Kelly and Aidan Sezer at the Titans. Averaged about 90 points between them and both made ~200k

It can work if both picks are good in isolation but would want a much lower price points to consider it

The bigger concern for Sutton/Dogs middle is how long before TPJ/Thompson come back rather than his output

At 40-50 minutes there's no real value, so you'd want a big minute role, and for long enough that he has time to make the cash before you have to sell.

    More on the Bulldogs ...

    By Michael Chammas (SMH)
A further update from Michael Chammas re the Bulldogs ... the club will apply to the NRL for an exemption to bring a player from outside the top 30 for this weekend’s clash against Manly following the Luke Thompson injury.

Any idea who this exemption player is

Kurtis Morrin (or Jayden Tanner or Harrison Edwards)

Turbo looking better now too as a round 1 pick. The round 2 bye is still quite annoying though, and its parra/souths the 2 weeks after that

Liking the look of Smith and Kenny as my HOK.
Allows Cleary, DCE at half and Latrell and Turbo at the back as long as teamlists aren't too dirty on me

Am I being stubborn trying to hold onto Fifita? Got a bunch of other (cheap) edge options and letting him go would allow me to get someone like Turbo in and upgrade Carrigan to Haas.

    Joey Manu out for Roosters
    ByMichael Chammas

Just got a call through from Michael Chammas with some Roosters mail. Chammas’ sources have told him that Joey Manu, who has been struggling with another facial injury, won’t be fit for the Roosters’ opening clash against the Dolphins.

Manu was one of the stars of the Rugby League World Cup and it’s a shame he won’t be able to take his place in the historic clash, which will celebrate the contribution of Arthur Beetson to both clubs. We’ve been told there is a chance Manu may get named, but we’re not expecting him to take the field.

Dylan Napa spotted at Roosters training.

Wonder how much uproar there will be if he signs after no other club wanted him
