Looks very nice mate, love the Haas/Carrigan combo (you may aswell become a bronx fan with that deadly combo in your squad).

But yeah nice well rounded team, Teddy could go massive first 2 rounds and not sure too many will be starting with him, only slight concern would be having the 2 storm backrowers I'm personally not too keen on either of them letalone both of them but your bench has 2 really nice 2nd rowers in Egan and Wilton so they can be cover whilst you hope the storm backrowers can jag a few tries and make abit of coin.

Loiero is one I'm iffy on but under 400k he doesn't offer a lot of risk. It's Loiero v Sims or Garner v Hosking is what I'm comparing it as atm. Loiero is cheaper than Garner, and I think Hosking is a bigger threat to Garner's JS

Good thing about the Boyd scenario is you can always grab Hynes in a few rounds anyways so it's not permanent

    Haas/Carrigan also combined for a 72/60 average in 2020

The one time I saw him in NRL play he made a break of a kick return to score and was fast. He also dropped a few and did not look confident under a bomb. When I saw him in NSW Cup he was playing 5/8 and Metcalf FB, so obvs has some ball skills, but it gave the impression he was like the Sharks 4th choice FB

He also has an extremely attractive wife, who despite it being mid winter on his NRL debut, was wearing a crop top in the stands. Probs the only time the old “cut to family members in the stand” has made me do a double take/feel like a dirty pervert

I find it hard to believe he can sustain his starting FB average - his TBs over the small sample are basically Tedesco plus level - and I’m super wary of late 20s rugby converts doing anything in NRL and not getting found out. Especially in defense

At the same though he’s probably not going to lose cash either so it’s not that much of a risk

I am thinking about sticking CNK in at WFB, career average of about 40 playing there, priced 26. Didn't have a great past couple of years, obviously.

    The full DPP adds:

    Coen Hess (Cowboys) MID +EDG
    Mitch Dunn (Cowboys) EDG +MID
    Taniela Sadrugu (Cowboys) WFB +MID
    Euan Aitken (Dolphins) EDG +CTR
    J'maine Hopgood (Eels) EDG +MID
    Kayln Ponga (Knights) WFB +HLF
    Izaac Thompson (Rabbitohs) CTR +WFB
    Sebastian Kris (Raiders) CTR +WFB
    Joseph Suaali'i (Roosters) WFB +CTR
    Erin Clark (Titans) HOK +MID
    Phillip Sami (Titans) WFB +CTR
    Marata Niukore (Warriors) MID +EDG

The Sadrugu one is lol. Don’t even know how they make that decision. Huge upside if named

    Egan
    Carrigan Tapine Smith
    Hopgood E Butcher
    Cleary Doueihi
    Alamoti HSS
    Tedesco Martin Warbrick

    Boyd Ford Katoa Blore

    Doorey Katoa AKP Talau

    308k in the bank

A bit of a different possible tactic aim to switch TMM to Turbo after round 2 (hopefully a straight trade and turbo doesn’t go bang )
Try to get Hynes in round 3 having that much coin allows for a lot of room for error and shouldn’t miss a cheapie 😜. At least that is my theory.

    Appreciate thoughts.

Respectfully looks pretty poor in my honest opinion, from face value I can't see where all your money has gone, there's not many big guns in there at all and too many midrangers for my liking. With a weak backline I would expect a solid forward pack with a few guns in there but besides Tapine it's just a bunch of midrangers. I think you need to fit a few more uber guns in there and balance them out with downgrading a few of the midrangers to cash cows.

Which Rorters players would you suggest to carry seeing that the Rorters have a bye in round 4. I feel like there's a few Rorters players that can gun it in the first couple rounds against week oppositions but like you said I don't think it's wise to carry too many Rorters players

Yeah thought of that. Have been guilty in the past of planning too far forward - you never know what happens in the first 3 rounds

A clear buy could appear that no one really thought of, someone could get a long injury, etc.

I like the 3 Roosters points for rounds 1-3 and I'll deal with the problem later when things become clearer

Historically, teams on a bye don't lock out until the last game of the round, so unless something completely weird happens, it should be the same this time around.

Overhauled my strategy this year and purely chose the players I enjoy watching the most this year. It's gonna be liberating not cheering on absolute plodders to score 38 points

Thompson Miller and Kris are all capable of pulling out dogshit scores and don't really seem to have a high ceiling no?

Former 7s player and has the skills from that. Not particularly flashy but solid enough player.
Loves a sideways run with multiple slapsies TBs, classic sevens style that doesn't help NRL attack much but good for fantasy points.
