Probably to start the season until he builds up fitness.StormTrooper96 wrote:Is Hutchinson taking minutes of Smith?

Lee Hagipantelis (Tigers chairman) said yesterday that Bateman is not injured, but missing this week because he doesn't know any of the plays and isn't acclimatised to the team yet
iPap mentioned in an interview he is playing left edge because Bateman is training on the right. He also said Bateman is part of a rehab group at the moment (I guess for the injury that Hagipantelis said he doesn't have)
So basically Bateman currently out for an injury of unknown length, but seems he'll go to right edge (Blore's current spot) when he returns

Yep, Random disabled it in the first few months of the Forum because there were some really long and confusing multi quotes with like 10 posters involved.
I mean, they were mainly just Henchy and his 9 other alts quoting each other, so technically one poster, but confusing nonetheless.

Happy Pants was also quoted somewhere saying that it was tantamount to defamation to suggest the Tigers hadn't done their due diligence medically before signing Bateman. I didn't see what he was responding to but seems strange to be that strong about someone saying something if there isn't some sort of injury or niggle.

Can the walking injury avoid injury is the key question I guess, coz no doubt there is plenty of points potential (Pointential if you will) and plenty of cash to be made there if he can
Do I have the Kahunas to do it though, hmmmmm

Freeing up som cash but also losing 20-30 points in the process and an out and out gun

Not to say Batemans lazy, but i train with the rehab group every now and then when i feel unmotivated

So player with no self interest in the situation is saying he is injured and rehabbing, while management responsible for potentially signing an injured player are saying he is learning the play book. I know which story line sounds more believable.standard-issue wrote:

Not to say Wilton wont do well, but personally I'm off him. Looking at his stats last year he needs a try to score 50 and not to mention atleast 70 minutes which may not even happen with Graham on the bench. Other then that our teams are very very similar.

Feels one gun light to me - most drafts I've seen seem to have 5 out and out guns, you only have 4 in Grant, Murray Cleary, Doueihi. That back 5 just seems too light imo.
