A NSW Central Coast man has been convicted of biting a neighbour's penis during a dispute over a box trailer.

Gosford Local Court heard last month that Daniel Hatton bit and held on to Peter Peterson until "there was no fight left in him".

Photographs tended to the court show Mr Peterson's denim shorts with a gaping hole in the front of them that was allegedly torn out by Hatton's teeth.

Mr Peterson claims Hatton bit him directly on the penis.



"I had to go see the surgeons in Gosford Hospital and they stitched it up," Mr Peterson told A Current Affair.

The court heard Hatton was taking out an AVO against Mr Peterson when he was approached about a dispute over an allegedly stolen box trailer.

Hatton was convicted and fined $900 for the appendage assault and placed on an 18-month good behaviour bond.

Mr Peterson said he was slowly recovering from the bite.

"It was difficult for the first few months," he said.

"I had to sleep with ice packs and things like that, you know, so I didn't end up with an erection. Basically, otherwise, it would have just torn all open again and stuff."

Luckily, Mr Peterson's penis is still functioning. Here, he shows reporter Steve Marshall ultrasound images of the baby he is expecting with his partner later this year (Source: A Current Affair)

In happier news, Mr Peterson is expecting a baby with his partner later this year.

"So yeah, it works," he told A Current Affair.

I've been diagnosed with middle insomnia, which has been hell for the past 4 weeks but I digress.

Anyone have any history with it and any recommendations to stay asleep?

I've tried valerian root, white noise while I fall asleep, mary jane, I've got pills prescribed that are doing nothing.
