Honestly that's pretty much me. Quite, reserved etc. Would rather stay home on most days than going out facing the world. I go out everyday to work obviously, I'm not "scared" of talking to people etc, just prefer my own company.

I think I'm out. She wants to go away for 4-5 days together, which is fine, but we have only known each other for 3 weeks. Add to that she tells me sometimes she wakes up heartbroken, despite her EX hurting her in some way or another, not sure if physical or mental yet, sounds like Domestic Violence though. I asked her last night something like "You don't wanna get back with him though do you after how he treated you?" "I'm not sure, maybe" - Something like that anyway.
WTF after us hanging out so much these 2 weeks she tells me she still has feelings for him. It's all too much too fast.

Fuck mate my heart is absolutely tearing apart for you. I don't know you from a bar of soap, desperately want to have a beer with you and talk it out.
I have girlfriends who's life have been ruined by DV and have to go in to the cops and renew the protection order every 12 months. But it took them a while to build that confidence. Love is a drug and it's harder to kick, and people looking in might think your making bad decisions when you are giving someone their "last" chance.
You seem like a nice guy, not having a go will play on your mind for a long time, landing her will make you a world beater and losing her will be a kick in the guts. There is no in between other than learning from your experiences
She may have been damaged in the past, it just means she's more cautious and needs more work.

Thanks for the reply. I could be completely wrong about DV, but she mentioned she received physcological damage, and still is in some way or another. Either it's still happening, or its memories, she hasn't told me yet.
Ugh. I know she is into me, she pretty much wants to see me every day, and don't get me wrong I like seeing her too. Just feel that if I leave she will get upset, do something she shouldn't or go back to him (If it is indeed DV), but if I stay, I'm not really going to be happy because it's all just too much for me. I want to help her, but really I dont know what to say/do, I know she is happy being around me though and enjoys my company from the amount of times she hugs me/puts her head on my shoulders lol
