Re: The Not Thread-Worthy Thread
What I want to know from all the sauce in the fridge types is how you feel about it not being refrigerated at the store you buy it from???
And TBH, Masterfoods produces in bulk, which is then bottled, cartoned, palletized and left to sit in a warehouse for months until it's ordered and shipped...
Where's the reasoning for refrigeration now bitches?

The reply I generally get is when it's not sealed the bacteria get in.
What about the little squeezy packet sauce for pies and chips you get? Never in the fridge.

@Dreadlord -
If a product is stored below 5degrees (like inside a fridge) it will stop the growth of bacteria (not killing it rather the bacteria is still there just not reproducing like rabbits) so in fact it is the people who leave their sauce outside the fridge who should be concerned.

Or perhaps the knowledge that every item we touch in life is so full of bacteria, that such things are not as dangerous as you might think

Re: The Not Thread-Worthy Thread
Yes but everything we touch in every day life doesnt go inside out mouth. By keeping sauce in the fridge we are trying to safeguard against foodborne illness that results from a product being kept outside the fridge once opened. Food poisoning will not always occur yet I dont see the harm in trying to reduce the chances of it happening.Milchcow wrote:

Re: The Not Thread-Worthy Thread
Personally I have to keep my sauce in the fridge cos I make my own and it usually only lasts about a fortnight.
However, I'd be well more concerned about eating a lukewarm pie at Suncorp, drinking a beern from a bar that doesn't regularly clean their lines or eating sushi... Any sushi that I don't make myself. Heh. Worked for 4 years in kitchens and what happens in some of those places scares me.

Top 3 is hard.
Johns in 2005 Origin just dominating like I've never seen before or since.
The above mentioned
Probably the 97 grand final, only ten but remember nearly crying cause the field goal hit the post. Only for us to get the ball back.

If anyone is on instagram check out the sportsbet page, they've got a pretty funny video of a chick supporting both NSW and QLD. Some funny lines.

Re: The Not Thread-Worthy Thread
My mrs has had some fish drying out in the sun on our clothes line for the past two weeks.
Now I'm not really bothered by the sauce in fridge (which it is) or not.
But that dry fish still swinging out there scares the shit out of me.
Tbh. Even the flies are avoiding it .
