Play style is basically DCE lite. Hands on everything moving both sides of the ruck. Win or lose it won't be because he took a back seat. Very busy in defense as well

Its more that the first couple of weeks are lower scoring than usual. Players are rusty, and there is more dropped ball and stoppages so fantasy scores are lower. Last year the first 5 rounds averaged 1183 fantasy points per game, and then 1222 up through to origin. A small but noticeable increase. Price rises might look a bit funny compared to expectations, but big scores will still equal big price rises.

As an example, cheapies Max King and Billy Walters last year each went 50+ in round 1 and rose $40k each.

I think my main non-cookie cutter move this year will be to use Suaalii as a quick stepladder to Bird.

Bird is the only centre playing as a starting forward (some risk, but sounds near enough certain https://www.zerotackle.com/dragons-make-call-on-starting-five-eighth-140361/) and he's 0.6% ownership. Likely to be a huge team-tearing scramble to get him in in a couple of weeks, so anticipating that. Did consider picking him straight away as a 600k red dot, but will try this way instead. Hopefully Suaalii can score well and make a bit of coin in the next three weeks with Dolphins and Warriors, but if he looks and scores terrible have cash to make the trade straight away.

Can someone remind me when did the TB points change? Was it last season? And it went from 3 points to 2 right?

Really like the team, lots of money in emergency though, I’d def beef up ctr or choose another GUN that I like watching

I've removed Brandon Smith from my team and added in Fifita, 86K left - Good enough to go now

Just don't think Smith is going to be as good as people think, can defo see him burrowing over for a try or two though that's the annoying thing lol

He loves a missed tackle

Even if he averages 55 for next three weeks, "Only" goes up $50K or so

Kenny and Trbojevic are the ones I’m a bit iffy about. Trbojevic has that round 2 bye but is better value than someone like Tedesco or Mitchell and I’m not too keen on Ponga. Alternatives is downgrade Kenny and get another gun like Tapine or Haas but that leaves my back 5 incredibly weak.

Could go really well with that kind of depth, with byes every other week.

I'm not sure what to expect from Hodgson. I want to pick him but can't quite squeeze him in.

Averaged near 50 in PVL ball but I think that comes back a little, maybe a tick over 45 ?
