474 with the following players and (gut feel points) to come:

    Smith (45)
    Tapine (60)
    Doueihi (65)
    Alamoti (25)
    HSS (25)
    Boyd (50)
    Sutton (50)
    EButcher (55)
    Uto (40)

Finishes me with 889 which I'd be happy with. Hoping Doueihi or EButcher cross the stripe to boost those numbers a bit into the 900s.

@welshy I wasnt saying Tohu to average 80, I was saying when is up to match fitness and playing 80, he can Hopgood (now a verb). Even if he is just getting 60 minutes, he has shown he can score 60+ in that time without any real attacking stats, just working hard. That is the $700k guy you want in your team. Also covers 2 bye rounds, so can keep for the season.

mtb , did you trade Smith to Carrigan last night? or are you freeing funds to bring in Carrigan next week.

after much deliberation, I went Carrigan over Tino, and so far I am happy with that.

Put Carrigan into my team before game.

Unsure on BS9. Will hurt if he goes big early.

I think Douehi at 65 is a bit optimistic, will be happy if he gets around 60 average for the season.

Based on your numbers I would be hitting about 910, with all but 2 in common, Cotter and Trindall vs Sutton and Uto ,currently 9 ahead of you.

We are hearing its going to be Stimson EDG, McIntyre bench. If Haas doesnt make the side at all, it is a real challenge this season.

If you want to do a similar trade for someone with an EDG spot and a chance at the starting side, Preston could be the guy you want. I already have him.

Alternatively, Trindall, then if Haas comes in and starts in the future he can be a swap out to him.

Once TPJ and others come back from Injury that would demote Preston but no? Don't know if Stimson and Mcintire would hold the spot if they aren't really standing out

Only TPJ to come in. Thompson out for months, just went for surgery.

Looking for RFM to start, then move to MID. I (and others) expect Preston to take the EDG spot when they are comfortable with him. Will be surprised if he doesn't get decent minutes even from the bench, and averaged 51 at EDG for Bears last season.

Alamoti was on the left during the trials, so should be lining up against Cola on Manly's right side

    No worries mate.

I'm thinking I might run Talau over Alamoti, Koula and Olakau'atu are a pretty tough combo.

TPJ is playing prop this year.

I’d say the dogs at full strength will be

    8. King
    10.TPJ
    11.RFM
    12.Kikau
    13.Sutton

    14.Brown
    15.Waddell
    16.Preston
    17.Pele

2 cheap centres + Boyd, Butcher, Cheese, Trindall, Doueihi to finish the round.

    Rampaging Cow.

533/9c with the same plus Tonny Turbo to come. Seems about par for here.

Only other difference is that Alamoti is my 21 with Bird at CTR. If Alamoti absolutely stinks I'll probably go plan B with Suaalii instead of Bird short-term.

My scores is built on (C)leary and a front row of Haas/Hopgood/Carrigan which I imagine is a somewhat popular combo, so almost certainly there will be people doing better.

Cheap WFB/CTR roulette could be crucial for getting a few extra points. I missed CNK who I was very close to getting, but overall happy with decisions.

    Hahaha.

I obviously wanted Carrigan all pre season but he had become the victim of trying to squeeze a few others in. Last minute realised Ive got to get the big fella back in there.

18/90 at royal pines yesterday. Not too bad. Greens were super hard.

Palm Meadows later today.  About to have a gin i think

Oh yeah I'm expecting 60ish for him also (though wouldn't be surprised to see 65+), just added a few points for this week's matchup against the Titans. Feel like he gets a few more attacking stats compared to when the Tigers play, say, an Eels/Storm/Panters type side.

Also 9 points + Cotter + Trindall vs Sutton and Uto is really good for you (or really bad for me Laughing ). Reckon we're both off to a solid start though with yours slightly better. Good luck today and tomorrow!

Fkn can't believe I didn't have at least one of Haas/Carrigan.

I'm running Murray/Tino but still spewing I didn't pick one of the lads.

Now call me crazy, but perhaps the reason Carrigan offloaded so much in the preseason challenge was due to the team needing offloads to get bonus points, and the matches having much lower stakes so he had more freedom to throw them?

Yeah I had Carrigan for a while but it is what it is, only one game.

Hope Murray really guns it for both of us
