Did he sneak out of your bedroom this morning while you were still sleeping?

Really happy with Carrigan vs Haas.

Carrigan got 2 less run meter points, but made 23 more tackles! 21 points more in base stats in similar minutes. Expecting as we get into the season that the attacking stats also start to favour Carrigan and he outperforms Haas for a much lower cost.

Xavier Coates suffered an SC joint sprain and is expected to miss 1-2 weeks. Is an injury to the joint between the sternum & collarbone, near the midline of the chest. Not the most common injury in footy, AC joint sprains (at the other end of the collarbone) much more prevalent

Do we consider Tackle breaks to be base stats for Miller?

2 competition points on the line, in a close game against a well organized defence that is usually meeting you with 2-3 bodies... you don't want to be a leader that turns over the ball with a optimistic/reckless offload.

It will be interesting to see against looser defenses

Getting cold feet on Thompson. A deeper dive into his 49 and 32 last year- a try in both games where Souths dominated the Warriors 48-10 and then Eels 26-0. Seems like a likely character to put up an abysmal score in tryless games, and I can probably get those abysmal scores from HSS for 80k less.

I thought exactly this yesterday and made the switch to HSS. Screw CTRs

    Fair point buddy
I’m liking King vs Harris myself
King only played one minute more for 7 more points with 4 more tackles, so base stats are all there as well.
For $185k cheaper I’m seeing a jump to Haas before the byes quite easier, won’t have any competition for minutes for at least the next three weeks. Don’t think Tevega will necessarily steal Harris minutes but a lot more likely with that bench and could be early as next week.

Yeah, average of 9 in 5 games at fullback, maybe bring him down to Teddy's level of 7 per game.

    Speaking of attacking stats.
I wonder which will happen first (assuming they at some point happen)

    - Twal gets a try
    - Carrigan gets a line break

My team has been doing OK, I can't be bothered to estimate how many points I'll end up with though.
Garner the only player of concern so far, would have been a different story if he managed to get his hand on the ball. Ford and Carty to be considered as cheap replacements

Do I downgrade Sutton to Uto to have more cash spare?

Ciraldo said at the presser yesterday he won’t play his starting props extended mins. Does that concern us or we think Sutton gets 50mins?

Harris has the history of performing at this level:
2021 average of 66 at lock (excluding injury game)
2020 was averaging 69 at lock (just 3 games, but low of 64)

King's minutes likely drop off when Sims is back next week, NAS and Welch should stay about the same. Kings average in games > 60 minutes last season (by far his best ever), was only 41. Not close to being at Tohu's proven performance level.

From a biased fantasy owner perspective I’m really looking forward to Turbo having a good run today. From a footy fan’s perspective I’m hoping the lad can stay injury free, the game is so much better with him in it!

The problem with some coaches is that they often say one thing and do the other... I don't know which guy Ciraldo is

I would go with the guy that you feel more excited to own
