HSS and Talau have a chance of becoming my starting ctrs, with Alamoti not impressing the coach

So how many non owners will trade Turbo in for round 3? He looked both good and worrying at the same time

The man himself said he's gonna play lock, that's enough for me to carry him on my bench this week (I'm using him to loop Ford's score in)
I heard JDB was so i guess we gonna find out

Staggs scored 26 points for the price of both my centres combined. There are no "guns" unless Birds is actually at lock
Staggs against the panthers would have been a brave pick

Looked a bit scary for me. He pulled up on his breakaway so lacking a bit of confidence. Might have another look in round 3, but with that said if To'o doesn't perform next week he'll be a priority trade out for round 3 (during his bye).

There's enough doubt there for me to wait and see.

15 or so from Alamoti ain't good, but that's the risk of running cheap centres. Or any centre really. I'm hoping it'll pan out for the dogs on that side with Addo-Carr, Kikau, Alamoti and Burton - particularly the latter needing to figure it out.

Surely those that took 2x base price guys weren't expecting more than 40 points most weeks
I definitely consider under 20 points a fail.
So 40 points is the minimum I consider acceptable from my 2 cheap centres. Aiming for 50+. 60+ would make me happy

Preston got the minutes I wanted (53), shades of Mann last year, was Mr Fix It.
If he can land that EDG for 80 minutes and stay there he will be fine, thats always been the goal.
Note that he matched Kikau's score

Sam McIntyre in for Fermor, Titans, is he worth picking up?

Yea Sutton was a pass. Be interested if they got the tackle count right, when watching the game and scores thought he got some tackles that were King's.

Burton was hopeless, had no idea how to run an attack with the talent outside him.superbucks wrote:15 or so from Alamoti ain't good, but that's the risk of running cheap centres. What would you do: downgrade DFifi to... Gilbert or Nicholls?

Hmmm, lots of low minute EDG games, but the other EDG is Fifita. Pass.
