I could understand if they used that extra money on development players or to build a squad out. Even raise the minimum wage or create a super fund to support injured/retired players but nope, they want 1.5mil instead of 1.2mil

Tickets are crazy expensive, $13 beers and expensive food and crap schedulings including origin
They do nothing for the kids and the grass roots is dying

It's just greed and corruption

Compared to say a newtown jets nsw cup game at henson park
No video ref, $15 entry and free kids entry
Can sit on the grass,stand or drive in, craft beers and food truck food
And they play every home game at 3pm on a saturday

I thought this year would be different and it couldn't get worse but somehow we keep coming back for more punishment and not in a fun way

I am not angy I am just disappointed haha

I can see this round being an anomaly once the feedback starts coming in from the "fans".

Well played rabbitohs too, regardless of the outcome both teams bashed the shit out of each other but that many mistakes are unforgiveable by the sharks (Even if they got no help from that red headed blind cunt ref) you still deserved the win

This week of footy started well on thursday but since then it has felt a bit like magic round a few years back, not in a good way

I do one multi every year in the first round so up for a huge win if the roosters/tigers come through
Will buy some kfc and probably bank the rest haha but it is the tigers so its as good as gone
