Fair enough. Looks like we both have Ponga, Miller, Boyd and Doeihi. Hopefully some of your luck rubs off. Ponga in particular I'd like to go well.

How good is Wayne, did similar with the Broncos, this time without a Marquis player.

Yep a 70 and an 80 from Douehi and Ponga makes a great round fantastic, a pair of 30s would suck.

The odds on Matterson being big minute bench MID just got a lot shorter.

611/13c for me. Pretty crappy round for me. Sucks when your guns fail to fire (Murray, Teddy, Cleary), I'm happy enough with my selections though. Teddy particularly frustrating yesterday. Traded Smith out (great) to Ford (bad). Hodgson pretty stinky also. Fairly happy with the team overall, making money with Cartwright, Alamoti and HSS (who are my only centres and haven't wasted any trades on), Trindall, Loiero, May, Doorey, Preston and Warbrick. Just need to be patient I suppose.

I doubt Brown makes a difference to that. Well down their pecking order for some reason. If he's anything like the guy he was a couple of years ago it's a great and necessary signing for the Roosters.

I think Matterson will/should play edge at least until Lane is back because he's a better edge than either of their current second rows. But I'm not Brad Arthur.

Has had a hamstring injury, was due back next week. They don't have another guy that Arthur will trust as big minute MID, so Matterson will most likely be it. If Brown had played next week I would have been less certain.

Those two tries strolling through Parra's left edge screams for Matto to play edge. But wouldn't surprise me if Arthur plays him at middle.

They look like they have the same problem as Eels at the moment, middle third was pretty ineffective towards the later stages of the game. Roosters were marching up field every set, just couldnt put the game away. But yeah were down a couple of players obviously yesterday. I don't think they have anyone missing (other than Jazz?), Curran playing big mins through the middle would help.

I mean, yeah of course, if Harris plays 80 most weeks he's a must have, be surprised if it continues ? At 65 ish mins he's just a normal gun.

This was my thinking when I grabbed him this week. I was a MID short and thought Harris was good for a 50 average worst case scenario. If I get a couple of 70 scores along the way it's a nice bonus

I guess we could be looking at another hybrid role. 30 minutes left edge for Matto, Cartwright comes on to relieve a middle via Matto.

At his best Brown was on the fringes of rep selection. Exactly what is needed off the bench

In Parra's case though, for whatever reason, they didnt want him there. Was reasonably apparent he wasn't going to get much of a run.. Be interesting to see what he can do at the Roosters.
