    Your HK options appear to be in my choice of order;

    Mahoney (doing a lot more this season)
    Wade Egan (playing big minutes)
    Liddle(seemed to do very well)
    Api - not 100% here the tigers look awful.

    If its Hooker, I feel like just grabbing the cream.

    I am considering Boyd to Preston as 1 trade. Was thinking Cheese to a gun mid with the difference but that leaves me no hooker and no mid cover. Holding Cheese though means I still need to bring in a mid next week to cover the bye.

    Other consideration is
    HSS and TMM to Shaq and Preston - keeps coverage for mid and hooker, gives cheese and Boyd another chance

    Anything obvious to do with this lot?

    A suggestion;
    Hold Boyd for HK cover, sell cheese to shaq for mid cover and sell ITT/TMM for preston

    Cheese is going to dump a lot of cash and historically middles with rib injuries take a very long time to come right.

    Damnit, I really just wanted to do Smith>Douehi but this rumour of him being out and Wakeham off the bench is spooking me- he would be locked in as a red dot and no cover if he was a late out

    Any reason why CHN won't continue these current huge minutes at lock?
    He is playing EDG. Whitehead must have an aversion to the number 13.

    I feel gross. Just brought in SJ as my halves cover but don't feel great about it.
    Boyd's poor form and upcoming bye are bad timing with potentially losing Tricky T in the next week. Making the move early means I don't need to rip my team apart next week.

    Talau --> Walsh
    Boyd --> SJ

    Not sure the team needs Bird with Alamoti and Penis.

    Would suggest the team needs playable depth this week, have lots of WFBs, don't need CNK when you have Too, with Warbrick on the EMG, and cash gen has stalled for him and you don't want to be relying on Doorey for scoring.

    Would go NAS and CNK to a couple of guys that could average 50 each like Nicholls and Wilton, who just come in on budget. That depth will really come in handy as guys like Trindall and Carty disappear.

    Two middling options ? Nichols is solid, feel like I should have started with him.
    CNK just a week out right. But yes was going to also rise and now stalled

    Yeah not ideal, but SJ knows his time is almost up and trying to go out on a high, no origin, weak other half, his fitness seems better, familiar feels for him.

    Go for it.

    A weak halves partner and no fullback stealing kick metres or goal kicking does make for a juicy prospect.

    That's why I have Grant, with the NAS-Shaq option you mentioned earlier where you can get 'ányone' there is a great POD called Cook. afro

    Wilton can be a season keeper in his position, should average 50+, no chance of Origin, plays 2 Origin byes.

    In my team, having sorted out immediate fires, working out how to replace Carty and Trindall with good scoring is my next concern that I am focusing on. I expect most teams will be the same, as you can't rely on guys like Katoa / AKP / Talau / Thompson / Doorey / Warbrick / HSS etc for bench scoring. Other options like Shaq and MCK may be out of the team entirely in the next week or 2 as troops that are ahead of them in the pecking order come back, so can really compound issues if they are no longer options at the same time as Carty and Trindall get taken out. Will be lots of teams in a big mess then.

    He means Whitehead.

    CHN has the right edge spot for now. Not much attack for the back rowers in the first two rounds, putting it down to QLD weather in the hope Harawira-Naera goes big/stays out of the HIA and the oscars.

    That is why AKP / Talau / Thompson / Doorey did not make my team Suspect

    I heard a rumour that Souths rate Shaq ahead of Moale.

    I'll be interested in how Schuster goes this week. At his price and bye schedule he'd might be a nice swap for Boyd. Might.
