NULL NULL doesn't have great base stats. If he wasn't selectable at CTR you wouldn't even look twice. Would want a long term big monute role to even consider

Is this the first season he's played at second row though?
I thought he was previously an outside back.
But yeah hed need a big minute role, ie hold the starting spot.
He did come on pretty early last week. Was impressive rnd 1

Here's how I see it:GarethEllisismyDad wrote:Captain Hopgood locked in for tonight
1 - good outcome
0 - neutral outcome
-1 - bad outcome
My logic is that with the majority on captain Hopgood, him underperforming is pretty neutral for me, regardless of what Haas does. Obviously it wont be GOOD for me, but many serious players will be in the same boat, so no big deal. On the other hand with Captain Haas (or insert your own POD captain here) if Haas does badly but Hopgood does well again it's a clearly negative outcome, with me losing a lot of ground to the field. Summing up the totals using this logic I get:
Captain Hopgood +2
Captain Haas +1
For me, the safest and most logical option is to captain Hopgood.

Yeah would have had 54 minutes. If he does well this week and lands that role next week as the TLT starter I will get him.

Of course the one round Brisbane play late is when Carrigan is in doubt. That’s thrown a serious spanner into the works

True but this is the same reason people are looking at Bird (with the massive caveat that Bird has a proven track record).
He’s probably not going anywhere for a week or two so time to have a look at his base before any major price rise.
TLDR : possibility of an Aldi Bird

Seems funny that my 2 trades in this week probably Katoa and Katoa. There's an 80's buddy cop show in the making.

You have to factor in the *likelihood* of each running good/bad. In reality it's probably low for both, but I'd say the likelihood of Haas (or Cook) running actively bad has been established over a number of years as "extremely low", while Hopgood, despite two stand-out games which his team lost is still in the "unknown" basket, especially in regard to how badly his coach mismanaged forward minutes in those two losses.

[quote="Finch"]Evening folks, have been looking for my cat the past 2-3 hours on and off, VERY strange he isn't home and he needs his medicine, hmmmm
How can I set this up so I can play Carrigan if he plays, but get Doorey points if he doesn't?
(Or cant it be done because different positions?)
Move Hopgood to where Carrigan is, Butcher to Hopgood's spot (make sure Hopgood captain at the end), Carrigan is on your bench and you get Doorey's score.

Hope your cat turns up Finch
Hopgood to mid, Fifi to edge Carrigan to INT4
