That was silly mate. EVERYONE could have predicted that Hodgson would have run the slowest 40 metres ever to score a try without any Manly players thinking it's a good idea to tackle him.

Honestly, I think they were all stunned by aliens, or more likely, thought the play must have been called back, given how slow he was running.

Just caught up on the thread and watched the highlights.

Wow what a cracking game of footy I missed.

    Only had Carty & Hopgood.

C on Cook - Hopefully a masterstroke with very few captaining him.

    Bring on the weekend!

I think you can give yourself a pass mark for Garner. I never had him, but most traded him, he looked terrible, the Panthers not much better. And the role, 50-60 minutes doesn't cut it. That might even still be the case, we can't be sure yet. Hodgson I was never thrilled with. I'm still not. But he's playing 80 and I think can still average mid 40's which is why I bought him in the first place. We all know he has a stinker in him, multiple missed tackles. I'm mostly hoping he can string a few good ones together though, rather than holding through to the byes.

Better name is Lookedgood, before I finally captained him! Teddy, Cleary, and Not so good -all flopped as captains. All in the 30’s I think!

Hodgson’s 51 will come in via the loop, what a pleasant surprise. Carty’s last decent score I suspect and Captain Notsogood! It’s already looking better than last week!

Edit. I have just seen Doorey got injured, so The Carty Party will probably continue for a few more weeks!

How awesome is it to see Parra just lose yet again! Nice to see someone wants to keep us company as we apparently try to go back to back for the spoon!

Which Mod is getting up early to cut the party short? Surely it’ll be all about pools!

I'm ready to end this party before it even gets going

Consider it a homage to Carty's second half...

After a week with the C on Hopgood, I had a last-minute sliding doors shift to someone I hoped would grant me more points.
I did this last week, too (with Haas) - swings and roundabouts

I think the whaley persistent hopganda (hopaganda?) put me off.
I did wonder if Manly might play it less through the middle and try to hit the edges more, can't even recall if that what was happened? - probably just a good dose of dumb luck

    definitely dumb luck...
well, hopefully luck - touch wood... Find out Saturday
