Are people needing a half that badly? Is this for Doueihi or to not play Boyd?

EDIT sharks have the bye in round 6 anyway so probably worth waiting and seeing on Hynes too.

Ah yeah that's a good point

I'm honestly not 100% convinced on SJ, he has a history of being inconsistent and will suck you in with a couple of good scores before either getting injured or going back to being shit.

I think I'm gonna go Cook and Leo Thompson, as I need a gun hooker and Leo should at the very least have 2 more games of big minutes (Elliott and Mann due back round 6) but more likely 4 more (JSaf due back round Cool, leaving me 65k bank and the following team.

    Cook
    Haas, Murray, Hopgood
    E Katoa, Preston
    Cleary, Boyd
    Bird, Alamoti
    Walsh, Miller, Hammer

    Leo, Loiero, Cartwright, Ford

Warbrick, Sloan, I Katoa, Trindall (to be sold next week)

Assuming Trindall loses the starting spot and Doueihi becomes a poor fantasy option - I will need a half.

In my case I just need a half or hooker if I trade Doueihi (preferably hooker so I don't need to buy one next week). I'm playing Boyd anyway regardless of which position I buy, but buying a gun hooker means I can just use I Katoa to cover Boyd next week instead of needing to buy a hooker.

Id be punting Doueihi. Maybe it can wait a week though. Bit trade happy at the moment.

Punted TMM last week and he goes and puts up a great score. Classic fantasy

Boyd survives as the other half partner with Trindall now not being playable.

Ah true, I forgot about Boyd's hooker coverage if he's in your starting side. That does make me rethink a little. And duh, Trindall, I have him so........should have worked that out.

I was going to double down on WFB's this week with Turbo and Miller, but may have to rethink. Could move TMM to the halves though.

True, I guess Clearyless people would be looking for one too. I don't see TMM doing that all that often though. I think 25-30 is where he'll usually sit.

Is it a dumb idea to trade in Stefano this week? I'm not expecting a 56 each week but if he can push out a solid 40 I'll be happy.

Was thinking of just doing Trindall -> Stefano?

I think I like Leo Thompson better for a similar price, the Knights seem to be a better team than the Tigers and he's got quite a motor on him

It's a pretty low bar but the Knights do clear it, albeit not by much

Looking at his score, he was just down on tackles and tackle breaks which suggests maybe he was shying away from the creative work and just doing the minimum? Unsure though as his RM's were normal.

Then again the first two weeks he was scoring rubbish until a play each game was worth almost 30.

    NVM I've just done a u-turn.

    Doohee -> Walker

No after listening to NRL Physio podcast talking about turf toe injuries

Team isn’t really that broken this week. Loiero/Doorey/Trindall/Butcher can sit in 18-21.

The Knights did just beat the Tigers with 12 men for a good part of the last 20 minutes and with their three best players injured during the game, but we are talking low-end notions of "better" here.

Ooft yeah interesting point. However isn't Leo's big mins simply due to the knights injury toll? When are the players who are 'dangers' to his minutes meant to be back??

Either way I'd say it has verrry little relevance when deciding who is a better fantasy option between two ~$470k middles. Often the worse teams need to tackle more which is good for their base.

Doueihi to Cleary will be on the cards for me next week (Cleary banner incoming this round), it would be a luxury trade for me this week.
Looking at jumping on Sloan, Ford, or Null Null this week instead, just to get another "playable" cow
