NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 21 - Will Cleary update or downdate in point?!?

I thought the Eels were going to give the game away with Dylan Brown's poor effort taking on the line on tackle 5 in their last set with a minute to go. Surely you pass the ball back to Moses on the inside, or at least do a bit of a crabwalk to waste time

Stop picking $hit players.
All I hear is excuses.
How many of your $500k+ players have been injured this season dickhead?

31 points in 34 minutes (not counting the try) and HOK/HLF dual position has me very interested next week, especially since I planned to buy Soni Luke.
Hands should be about 265k next week so as long as he's named, I think I'll go ahead since I can then go from Trindall and Boyd to him and a half at 770k plus any money Trindall and Boyd make this week.

Don't get too excited, remember Luke ( Panthers) first match off the bench. Going to wait at least two more weeks to see how this pans out.
True, just for me I need a HOK with Boyd on the bye. Plan was Brailey but Hosking looking a must have (assuming he's named), not sure if I can afford both Brailey/Hosking - that's where Hands comes in

I didn’t see the game. Is Hosking likely to keep his spot?

I've had 2. But I've also avoided injury prone players (Other then thoese two).
And i've got about 10 other excuses if you want to take a minute to listen?

You'd think so, looked great. Garner also got hooked early

That was me! I remember being a little bitch about it. Embarrassing to look back on if I’m being honest. I’m glad he’s fired for people who kept him but I can understand the want to trade him out after the low score and the bye

It is very tempting to bring in Hands given Hodgson's injury record and he looks like a real handy hooker option.

Grabbed Harris and Mahoney.
Have been dealing with injuries every week with the rest of my trades, which have also been in-game injuries and cost lots of points - Cheese, NAS, Ponga, Cotter, Douehi my other 5 trades so far.
Hard to gain ranks when dealing with that shit every week. Still entered this round at rank 5,000 despite the carnage.
This was meant to have been double cow week, instead dealing with 2 x 700k+ trade outs.
We all had Smith. Pretty much everyone had Doueihi too, and he hasn't missed any game time, he's just playing shit. Ponga and Cotter are two of the most injury-prone players in the game, you must have known the risks. NAS is unlucky for you.

Haha its pretty funny. As a non owner i cant say this wasnt expected.
Im only salty that Garner went off and theres been nothing about it. He cant have been hooked. Either way the Hosk played well enough that he cant be dropped so im garner be tradin him anyway

I understand like most people here have had a shit time of things to start the year
Point is most people focus on the positives rather than the negatives and competing at all costs
Most of this game is out of your control and we simply make the best moves at the time with 2 trades the lineup and a captain choice
The sooner you realise that you aren't competing with everyone here (instead the 99,900 people not here)
Or shit, compete against yourself and simply be better than last year

It was part of a strategy, which has meant I have dual gun hookers and the cash and straight trade of DCE for Cleary next week.
