That was me! I remember being a little bitch about it. Embarrassing to look back on if I’m being honest. I’m glad he’s fired for people who kept him but I can understand the want to trade him out after the low score and the bye
I did not remember that was you so wasn't an intentional dig haha. Just always found it funny.

He was very good. Martin still guaranteed to come back in if fit (haven't heard word of whether injury is minor). Hosking certainly looked better than Garner but who knows whether Penrith do their three edges rotating thing and whether he'll get full minutes.

It was part of a strategy, which has meant I have dual gun hookers and the cash and straight trade of DCE for Cleary next week.
It’s worked out for you then and that’s great. I totally get both sides of the coin

Haha its pretty funny. As a non owner i cant say this wasnt expected.
Im only salty that Garner went off and theres been nothing about it. He cant have been hooked. Either way the Hosk played well enough that he cant be dropped so im garner be tradin him anyway
Noone can complain about that sideways trade mate, funnily enough Boyd is right about Hoskings price

Would have worked out better if DCE had scored me more than 34 last week though
I deliberately saved a trade earlier for the extra switch.

Grabbed Harris and Mahoney.
Have been dealing with injuries every week with the rest of my trades, which have also been in-game injuries and cost lots of points - Cheese, NAS, Ponga, Cotter, Douehi my other 5 trades so far.
Hard to gain ranks when dealing with that shit every week. Still entered this round at rank 5,000 despite the carnage.
This was meant to have been double cow week, instead dealing with 2 x 700k+ trade outs.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking that Martin is guaranteed a spot but if Garner was hooked and not an injury / HIA it changes a lot

Someone posted a tweet earlier that it was just a strain and that Penrith don't think it's serious.

Not next week, he isn't. Will be about 550k.

Hope he scores 100 for you this week to make up for it

I can only imagine what some of the gloating would have been like if Cleary had scored under 50

Definitely wasn't a HIA but not sure if injury. He was shaking hands with players on field after game and looked fine, so thinking it's just a hook. Subbed off for weak gutted dog and Hosking played 80

We all had Smith. Pretty much everyone had Doueihi too, and he hasn't missed any game time, he's just playing shit. Ponga and Cotter are two of the most injury-prone players in the game, you must have known the risks. NAS is unlucky for you.
Doeuhi had a known injury coming into last weeks game, didnt train all week. They wouldnt have had a half on the bench if he isnt carrying the injury.
NRL Physio says that the injury he has massively impacts the performance of backs, why we are trading him out this week.
You can't predict the Cotter, NAS, Cheese, or Douehi injuries, Ponga was a risk, could just as easily be averaging 60 for cheap.

Fox commentators mentioned someone having a stinger at halftime and would return. Missed who it was, but I thought they said Garner.. may have been Gillard? Garner didn't return, but might've been because Hosking was beasting.
