Yep door's definitely open there, same with Alamoti. I finally got on last week when Doorey went down, so I'm still fingers-crossed he makes cash this week and next. At least if my planning for Hynes goes piss poor, I could always punt Grant (or pant Grunt?) for him Rd 9 and thinking about origin.. maybe Laughing

Is this silly? Welch's last two games have been frustrating due to minutes. Ford seems such a good buy at the moment. And IKatoa in a loop with ITT or HSS isn't likely to do much better or worse than just playing IKatoa outright, they probably all score poorly.

Probably over thinking last weeks score on Cleary a bit and should stick to original plan (and 1000 kick metres is pretty insane)

The half with 1,000 kick meters was Moses, Cleary "only" had 631.

It comes down to how much you've got in the bank.

People are either looking to jump on a price rise + some decent points, or downgrade to rise back up (if that makes sense).

To me, trading Hosking in and then potentially out doesn't make much sense for maybe 200k. But again, it depends.

And finally, people love a high score and get caught up in th3 hype of it.

Trading someone in and out for 200k profit is bad? I must be playing this game all wrong. That's ALL I'm trying to do early rounds.

True. I guessed 200k Max just with the 90+ and potential for 50... but I also just remembered Martin will be back soon  so you'd probably have to hold red dot Hosking until origin where he probably gets minutes again.

Of course, this all depends if he's in over Garner or not.
I should have kept reading. But anyways, "I don't think he'll make 200k because of JS, game time etc" is a different argument to "I don't think it's worth it to trade a guy in and out for 200k"

The second argument is absolutely worth imo. As long as the first argument holds up. That's the tricky part.

Team lists not ideal for me

Gotta play Ikatoa AND trade in a WFB due to TMM being out

I'm going to compound that by being forced to play IKatoa until I trade in another half

Collins + Boyd > Teddy and Hosking

Collins looks to have peaked and despite the extra minutes not putting out the scores I wanted. This seems pretty consistent across all Roosters so far this year so watch him punch out a 60 this week.

Boyd has the bye + Sexton probably his halves partner next week stealing kick metres.

Teddy will end the year as a top 3 WFB available for Kiraz money

Hosking is purely a short term hit and run cash grab. I don't think Garner is "rested' so much as dropped but unsure how long it lasts. Floor expectation 45 for 2 weeks ceiling expectation 55 for 6 weeks

First trade Trindall to Brailey. Can't see a second trade to bring in Hosking or work towards Hynes. Finally going to bank one. Hopefully a quiet couple of weeks, can bank some more before going ballistic around the Storm bye.

    Brailey
    Haas Hopgood Carrigan
    Cartwright EKatoa
    (C)leary SJ
    Bird Hammer
    Turbo Miller Walsh

    Preston Loiero Ford (Boyd)

    Exactly.

It's not that I think he's not a good trade in option but for those who are thinking about trading out players they don't really want to trade out, and who still have money to make, I wouldn't just make it happen on the basis that Hosking is a must have

Hodgson a fair enough swap! Haha.

Can't get him out of team fast enough.

    Hodgo is culled.

Now his team will facilitate the slowest ever length of the field try to spite me. That's how it works, right??!!

For the Hands people is this a 25-30pts 30min cash out people are hoping for?
Not alot of options at this price
DPP Hok/Hlf is pretty handy as well

I guess in this new age of HIA and injuries then he could get more time
Also could see him becoming one of those hookers to come on after 25mins and have fun with the tired forwards (starling/luke), while Hodgson covers middle duties and gives them a break in the middle period

Again a cheap gamble really and possibly helps facilitate a Hynes move in a couple weeks

I’m having a slight glance at Loiero to Hosking

Feeling it may be sideways in terms of points but not cash gen.

Don’t know if reading into too much but Hosking has Martin’s jersey number and Sorensen on left with Garner’s number…….

Money makers are more important imo as long as you're happy with your captain choice. I'd lean towards Ford.

And you're joking about the 1000kms right? But that's twice you've said it so..... that was Moses.

Yeah exactly. I'm hoping he can hit around 30 points in 30 mins, with potential upside of getting 50 mins with how cooked Hodgson looks to me.

My main concern is the contract situation. Seems rules have changed, but I can't find any concrete info. 29 of 30 should've been locked in weeks ago, but reading the pre-season team news they say 28 rather than 29.. Eels only have 27 still. I didn't think dev/extended squad players could be used until Rd 11 without exemption (according to the rules). So no idea how many games he can play unless upgraded to top 30.
