Arthur confirmed in his coach's media (after having to answer a bunch of stupid questions about Gutho) that Lane is back next week. Seems like he wants to keep Matto on right edge as well. I'm not ready for the Carty Party to end Beer

Of course, no mention of Hands while the idiots holding mics are too busy fishing for a headline.

I was thinking of going BMM to I Katoa but will Katoa actually be more dominate now? Feel like Milf will take over and try to run the ship

The other thing about gambling is if you actually end up with a half decent system, there's a reasonable chance the online bookies will limit or suspend your account anyway.

Ned’s are the worst. I won my first 10 or 11 bets (never happens for me) and it was only like $250 off $80 which really isn’t anything. They suspended any promotions and limited my withdrawals.

I was no way a big fry so imagine if you won some serious dough

    ^^^

TAB the dogs banned me because I went on a huge streak of live betting NRL games. They assumed I was at the stadium with a laptop placing bets before they adjusted their odds.

Yeah doesn't even need to be a system, just win a couple of bets in a row haha.

If you treat it as entertainment - a bet here or there enhances your experience - then ok. But otherwise it's rigged to beat ya, strong avoid.

Worth trading Boyd for Hosking in addition to Trindall for Brailey?

Pros: Gets me more quick cash gen and higher ceiling

Cons: Means I still have no HOK cover (Brailey as the main man), burns an additional trade and means I can't loop this week (Boyd is my only non-player)

My favourite quote on gambling is:

"It's hard to walk away from a winning streak, even harder to leave the table when you're on a losing one"

Sums up how people end up in a hole as it's always just one more bet and I will stop, just one more I promise.

Yeah I’ve been much happier since quitting betting. Enjoy the games more as well these days.

I used draft stars but only the .50c micro buy ins. I mainly use it to select fantasy guns that I don’t own so I feel like I still can enjoy them scoring well

you get a better return at a lower risk betting on the football premier league because the results are pretty much as expected & you know who will get the attacking stats like goals/assists
I bet on American sports. NBA, MLB etc. I don’t watch the games so don’t get hung up on anything. It’s more a stats based thing for me, try and find nice spots and don’t spend alot

Feel quite lucky that when I was a lad you had to actually go to stinky, smoke filled TAB filled with desperate looking Kent’s to place a bet so no one really did. Missed it by about five years but that meant that using betting apps is not really that common among my age/social group.

Mrs Aardvark also worked for a large gambling company for a while….they always, always win.

    genuine question LB.

Given the odds are quite literally rigged against the punter, why do you even bet if you don't watch the games?

Yeah that’s fair. It’s disposable income and I quite enjoy watching the stats tick up (or not haha) during the match. I don’t spend a crazy amount, $20 bucks to start and $5 dollar bets and if I lose it that’s me done till next Saturday.

I just can’t wait to find out whether getting Hosking means you don’t get fantasy or if not getting Hosking means you don’t get fantasy Dance

Thinking of forgoing Hoskins and getting a centre in sk I don’t have to play HSS. Maybe Timoko? He’s killing it

Matterson to get charged again and accidentally choose the games over the fine would be nice to keep the party alive

Are you saying that I HAVE the POWER!? That My choices alone control the destiny of NRL Fantasy Scoring? Because I always suspected this.

Love the Timoko pick, I was amazed he was unpicked in my draft until I snapped him up last week, seriously going under the radar
